Solid location just outside the airport and within walking distance to stores. Clean rooms although the walls are on the thin side which can become an issue for those that prefer not having to listen to their next door neighbours. Service is exceptional.

Leidy and Mariana at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and professional. However, the gentleman who answered the phone when I called for the shuttle service to pickup me up at the airport needs more training in customer service (unfortunately, I did not get his name.)
So I requested the shuttle and the gentleman informed me that it would be there in 5 minutes to pick me up. I said “great, but where exactly should I wait for the shuttle,” and he said the VIP area of the airport. He didn’t provide specific details about the vehicle so I assumed that a clearly marked shuttle with the hotel’s name or logo would be picking me up. After 30 minutes of waiting I called the hotel again to inquire about the status of the shuttle and the same gentleman answered. Again, he failed to give me details about the vehicle and assured me it would be there in 5 minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes I tried calling again but couldn’t get through, so I decided to get to the hotel on my own and not waste any more time waiting. (While waiting never did a driver get out of a vehicle to announce they were from the hotel.) The hotel is only about a mile away from the airport and thankfully I found a reliable taxi company and I arrived well at the hotel, but frustrated. This seems to be a recurring issue with this hotel. It is unfortunate and very inconsiderate to the customers, whom after a long trip, just want a reliable way to get to the hotel. I was able to take the shuttle to the airport for my returning flight. The shuttle is not clearly marked with the name or logo. This should be communicated to the customer, and given a clear description of the shuttle so one knows what to look for. I should also mention that weeks prior to my arrival I emailed the hotel directly to get more information such as specific pick-up instructions, including the shuttle stop location, shuttle schedule and meeting point upon arrival. I never received a response from the hotel, and yes I checked my spam folder and verified their email just to make sure. I resorted to messaging them and commenting on social media, I had other questions about their amenities and things to do around the area, and they didn’t respond either. I would never stay here again because of the lack of communication with the customers.

The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything happening in the rooms next to yours as well as the hallway. The bartender charged us for 19 beers one night (we are not even capable of drinking that much). One morning we forgot to leave a tip for housekeeping (our bad - we doubled the tip the next day) and our alarm was somehow set for 6am the next morning. It must happen often because it wasn't the only 6am alarm we heard from other rooms. The food is mediocre.

Other than all that it's close to the airport, a cute little strip mall with lots of restaurants and a nice beach only a short shuttle drive away.

Not worth the price. 4.5 star rating on Google has to be a lie. Should not be part of Marriott chain. Poor facilities, no fridges in rooms, poor service, useless shuttle service that is either too late or too early - does not follow the schedule, at all. Will not recommend staying here at all. Only good thing is hotel is close to airport, but it is not worth the stress

Easily the worst hotel of the Marriott chain I have ever been to. You wake up by the alarm clocks at 6:00 am in the other rooms, can listen to every word said around you in other rooms at 3:00 am and you’ll practically not be able to sleep. How this hotel got such a high average rating is absolutely beyond my understanding having been in 100+ Marriott hotels.

Breakfast is good and service too. No complaints there - but the room and sleep quality is astonishingly bad.

Staff are so helpful and accommodation
We stayed for 2 nights. location was perfect, a few restaurant just across the hotel. there's even 24 hours pharmacy close by.

I was here this weekend in June celebrating my birthday and I must say I will always choose Four Points Punta cana for my stay needs. The staff was super helpful I believe his name was Joel he was one of the best host ever!!! Super helpful and even assisted my birthday twin with finding a repair site to have his broken phone fixed. it not only saved the experience for our celebration but resolved an emergency situation because who wants to be in a Foreign country with no phone! The hotel provides a FREE shuttle to and from the airport, to the Playa, and even to one of the excursion options. I wish I would have known a lot of these things prior but hey your welcome in advance. The bar here is amazing I had amazing bartenders and even being provided a roll way bed in addition to the room was a plus! I love this hotel! give them all raises!

Rooms use key card to activate lights and AC. So if you leave room for long period of time and don’t leave extra key in the accessory switch your room will be warm and humid on return. Other than that all else was great

Our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Punta Cana was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. The only area for improvement would be ensuring that shuttle buses depart on time, rather than earlier than scheduled. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall positive experience.
One big highlight was the complimentary breakfast, which was exceptional and came free for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members (usually priced at $18 per person). Additionally, the availability of free shuttles to the airport, beach (just 5 minutes away), and Blue Mall was incredibly convenient.
Also, the location in Punta Cana village provided access to plenty of restaurants, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay. Overall, we had an excellent time and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

This is an alright hotel, I recommend the buffet breakfast which was amazing. Only complaint was the small beds in the room. We got 2 queens and there was no way those were queen size beds. Rooms were not that great looking either, I think they need to remodel a bit. Otherwise location is amazing, and very safe area with amazing restaurants just steps away. Overall I would stay here again for a short time.
