Concorde El Salam Cairo Hotel & Casino

I recently stayed at here, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, there were several issues that impacted my stay.

Firstly, the check-in process was incredibly slow, and despite my reservation, I was kept waiting for 2 hours, which was frustrating after a long journey. The room itself was not as advertised; it was smaller, and there were cleanliness issues.

Additionally, the noise levels were I was also disappointed with the amenities.

The customer service was underwhelming. When I brought up my concerns with the staff, they seemed uninterested and did not offer any solutions or compensations, which was disappointing.

Overall, I expected much more from this hotel especially given Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and would hesitate to recommend it to others unless significant improvements are made.

You should consider changing the IT department. I work in IT at Deloitte, and I also run my own IT company in Dubai. When someone calls me to solve a technical problem, I expect to know how to handle it effectively. However, the IT team you have there doesn’t even know how to connect a Samsung account to the TV.

I do not recommend this hotel. We made a reservation for 4 days - two single rooms. We were supposed to pay $800. The hotel took $1,000 from the card upon check-in - supposedly as a pre-authorization. At check out they took another $800 from the card. I tried to contact the hotel, described the entire situation, sent bank statements showing that the amounts collected were transferred to them - they claim that they only charged $1,000 and were supposed to refund $200 within two weeks - of course, two weeks have passed, and there is still no refund.
They respond to my emails perfunctorily and I am constantly ignored. I don't recommend this facility if you don't like being robbed for such large amounts :)
