Great place to stay at. The Receptionist (with a little accent) as well as most of the personnel were awesome. Clean, very well located, breakfast is incredible: freshly made, wide variety and testy. Again server very attentive. Will recommend to others and will come again for sure!

We stayed at this hotel on our recent trip. The location is excellent and from our small balcony we could see all the activities on the street below. Lots of places to eat nearby and walking distance to the sights.

Lovely property with an amazing location, the only issue was that on Expedia the doble bed room shows as "sleeps 3" we showed up with our daughter of 7 yrs and the older man receptionist force us upgrade to their bigger suite for an extra €50 per night, I asked him if it was necessary? And he reply we "have to upgrade to fit my daughter" it was a long flight so I said yes without thinking, the new room was great no complaint on that but if they advertise as "sleep 3" they shouldn't force you to upgrade rooms to fit 3. Other than that the hotel is great, amazing location and great stay for us.

We can't say enough good about this hotel! It was probably one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. The location was amazing!!! The breakfast was delicious, staff was wonderful and spoke several different languages. The rooms beautiful, clean and family friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel Francisco I will always be my GO-TO hotel when staying in Madrid. Not only is this hotel centrally located within the heart of the city, but it's also a lovely place with great service, clean rooms, and a restaurant with a FULL breakfast from 7 to 11 AM (or so) which is later than other hotels. The extra fee for the breakfast is WELL WORTH IT!

From Hotel Francisco I, you can easily walk to main attractions such as the San Miguel Market, Plaza Mayor, and the La Latina district (walk out of the hotel, make a left, and keep going). A very hip part of town.

I look forward to staying here again the next time I'm in Madrid.

Hotel's location is unbeatable. Staff is super nice and helpful. Our room had not been renovated in at least 30 years. Our experience overall was positive. Would stay again if I was guaranteed a renovated room.

Everything was perfect. Very friendly service and really good location to explore Madrid. The very spacious room was the highlight. Breakfast room a little bit small.

A boutique hotel perfectly located in the center of Madrid, beautifully decorated, polite Staff, delicious breakfast buffet, comfortable bed and pillows. What else can you ask? We are enjoying our stay here.

The most amazing hotel and staff we have ever encountered in our travels!! The location is also A+ you are in the middle of everything! Cant wait to be back! Breakfast was also the best! Hats off to the staff of this hotel for making our stay so welcoming!

I can’t give it 5 stars simply for the decor and lighting. Bright white lights everywhere. Just not my thing at all. Gives a really cheap edge to an otherwise clean and well located hotel. The beds were firm and comfy. The bathrooms have see through doors. Not ideal if you need privacy. Breakfast was nice with freshly prepared eggs and coffee.
