Hotel Atlántico

This is the second time I am trying to post this review

It’s a very nice hotel in the middle of everything.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and the place is spotless. Kudos to the house keeping staff.

No water in the rooms but the market is a couple of blocks away.

Front desk service was ok. Could be better. Our room had barely any internet (probably because of the room location).
This was brought up to the attention of the staff, they were not too helpful. They did not even bother to investigate why there was a problem. They just kept saying the internet at the reception area was working fine for THEM… We end up had to use our phone hotspots for the stay.

Recommend check your internet speed before you accept the room.

Fantastic service. I was upgraded to a bigger room. The staff are excellent and attentive. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.
I will definitely come back.

Very nice hotel, good location on the Gran Via, close to the Palace, Plaza Mayor and all the main shops
We had a nice quiet room on the front of the hotel.
Can't comment on food as we did not have breakfast

A good Hotel ,right in the centre of Madrid. The centre is full of life ,which means there is a lot of noise. But we had rooms in the higher floors at the Hotel and the windows were thick enough to reduce the noise to a minimum. The rooms and the staff were really nice so i can recommend this Hotel!

This is one of my favorite hotels I have stayed at in Madrid and elsewhere and it would probably be my top recommendation if you want to stay in this busy Gran Via area. We arrived before the indicated check-in time expecting to have the hotel hold our bags, but to our delight we were able to check in to our room immediately. The gentlemen at the front desk were very gracious and helpful. The room itself was immaculately clean, with a full stock of quality toiletries and plenty of linens. The decor of the room was lovely--kind of old-timey and cheerfully colored--and the room was very quiet. The refrigerator had a good minibar (we consumed it all, and to our surprise the bill was not exorbitant). One evening we wanted to order food for our room and although it was off-hour, the gentleman upstairs kindly brought it directly to us instead of having us wait there for it. Atlantico was about the same price as another, much shabbier hotel down the street, and substantially cheaper than the Hyatt across the street, where we had also spent a couple nights. But the Hyatt had a rather insincere and over-designed contemporary feel (typical of upscale name brand hotels) while the Atlantico had a rare old-world appeal, from its retro styling to its absolutely top-notch service.

Nice Hotel. Must try. But breakfast buffet needs to be improved with added items

Hotel very close near everything! Windows cover the noise of outside very well. Staff is friendly, tip;: going to the rooftop. Highly recommended

We always return back to a clean room, sa far as the staff they're extremely nice.
