DoubleTree by Hilton-Prado Hotel

We stayed here for 5 nights on the first part of our Spain trip. It was easy to get to from the airport. We were super early getting in and the location is central enough so we could walk around while we waited. The staff was super helpful and one person sat with us to note several of the nearby attractions and restaurants. Our room was very nice, updated, clean and a good size. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of straightening up our room, replacing amenities. The breakfast provided was excellent with options of American type food and local/Spanish options. The support staff at the breakfast was very quick and helpful. The breakfast even provided the option to have a custom omelet made. We very much enjoyed our breakfasts. There is a little market right across the street for water/sodas/alcohol with good prices. I very much enjoyed this boutique hotel with Hilton quality service and amenities.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and found it to be very clean and comfortable. Its location is conveniently close to all major attractions, and the breakfast was also enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay! Location is superb with good restaurants nearby and sights to see within walking distance. The room is spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable to stay in after a long day. Shoutouts to the housekeeping team! Breakfast has a good selection, tasty, with attentive service from friendly staffs. The front desk receptionist and security guards were another highlight. They are very professional and always ready to help. I want to especially thank Nerea who went above and beyond in arranging a comfortable room, restaurant suggestions, and ordering my takeaway breakfast. I will stay here again next time I’m in Madrid.

Conveniently located in the heart of Madrid The DoubleTree By Hilton Madrid - Prado is a excellent hotel for your stay. Located a short walk from many of the top attractions including the Gran via luxury shopping district and public transit.

The rooms are impeccable and a great value for the money. They are a generous size with well sized washrooms. The staff are extremely friendly and have a customer centric approach.

There are plenty of restaurants located a short walk away for any meal of the day or spots to grab great snacks, coffee and deserts.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting. I will be using them again when in Madrid again.

Another good hotel by Hilton. We had an early arrival flight and got to the hotel around 10am. Being a Hilton Honor member, they made it a priority to give us an early check-in which thankfully they said the room will be ready within the hour.

We therefore had breakfast at the hotel while waiting and even their a la carte breakfast was delicious. I had the Spanish Breakfast which was well worth it and filling.

Hotel upgraded us to a King-size room which was nice. The bathroom was amazing with the space and music being played. Room itself was alittle small but still comfy.

On the other days, we went for the hotel buffet breakfast which I had to say was amazing compared to breakfast at Double Tree in the US. They had a full breakfast buffet with even choices for eggs of your choice.

Checkout was a breeze and reception was able to call us a taxi and helped us with our luggage. Love the hospitality.

BTW, location is perfect I feel. It’s in a quiet part of town but still accessible to most attractions with a 10-20 minute walk. Still lot of choices of cafes, restaurants and bars if you don’t want to walk far. There’s even a supermarket right across the hotel to pick up water, beer, snacks, etc..; even a universal adapter if you forgot one like we did for only €5 😉

Really good location, 10 min from grand via, and all around the hotel is great restaurants, bars, museums and so.

This location is perfect! Cristina Rodriguez, front desk agent, was so helpful in locating our luggage that did not arrive with us. She and her colleagues all deserve recognition for their professionalism, courtesy and great attitude!

The location is pretty optimal if you're looking to explore the main center of town and not drive anywhere. Everything is walking distance and it's fantastic.

Service was very pleasant though nothing really stood out as spectacular and there were no additional room offerings beyond your standard daily cleaning.

The room itself was not much bigger than the bed and desk. Very nice bathroom, though it didn't have a ventilation fan. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and everything was nice and quiet.

Most importantly, it was within my company's per diem.

Breakfast was good but not great. I didn't try any of their other food as I always opted to eat at one of the many other restaurants in the immediate area.

Oh, it should also be said that the WiFi worked very well as well. I took several video meetings while there without an issue.

Having stayed here for four years or more, this hotel enjoys a great location, coupled with a beautiful if compact interior. My rooms have always been clean, comfortable and quiet. It is just a few dozen meters off the main street, but the street it faces has very little traffic.

The staff are so accommodating, regardless of your status, and there is a beautiful marble stairway with an old steel cage elevator that goes down the middle.

The hotel is very convenient to restaurants, shopping and a 20 minute walk to the royal palace, which is worth a visit.

To be honest, I stayed here because business associates were spending $500 a night at the Westin Palace, a block away, and I found a great hotel for half the price with a great Madrid feel.
