Very Recommended Hotel!
The staff were very helpful, nice and friendly.
We took a breakfast including, it was wonderful.
Really good location, 10 min from grand via, and all around the hotel is great restaurants, bars, museums and so.

This location is perfect! Cristina Rodriguez, front desk agent, was so helpful in locating our luggage that did not arrive with us. She and her colleagues all deserve recognition for their professionalism, courtesy and great attitude!

The location is pretty optimal if you're looking to explore the main center of town and not drive anywhere. Everything is walking distance and it's fantastic.

Service was very pleasant though nothing really stood out as spectacular and there were no additional room offerings beyond your standard daily cleaning.

The room itself was not much bigger than the bed and desk. Very nice bathroom, though it didn't have a ventilation fan. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and everything was nice and quiet.

Most importantly, it was within my company's per diem.

Breakfast was good but not great. I didn't try any of their other food as I always opted to eat at one of the many other restaurants in the immediate area.

Oh, it should also be said that the WiFi worked very well as well. I took several video meetings while there without an issue.

Having stayed here for four years or more, this hotel enjoys a great location, coupled with a beautiful if compact interior. My rooms have always been clean, comfortable and quiet. It is just a few dozen meters off the main street, but the street it faces has very little traffic.

The staff are so accommodating, regardless of your status, and there is a beautiful marble stairway with an old steel cage elevator that goes down the middle.

The hotel is very convenient to restaurants, shopping and a 20 minute walk to the royal palace, which is worth a visit.

To be honest, I stayed here because business associates were spending $500 a night at the Westin Palace, a block away, and I found a great hotel for half the price with a great Madrid feel.

I spent 2 nights there and had a great experience. The room was cosy and warm, clean and well furnished. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of it in the morning, so it's perfect that breakfast is served between 7 and 11:30. It's a buffet one, with a wide range of food and drinks. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The location is central, with all the main museums within walking distance. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Double Tree Prado in April 2024. I really liked the Hotel. I did get upgraded (after asking for it (HH Diamond)) to a Queen/King room at the second floor. The room was very nice and of high quality but really small. Great Bathroom too. I guess the size of the room is the price you pay for the location and the fact being in a historic building.

The Breakfast was very good. Great Pastry and Spanish Specialities.

Would I come back? Depends on the rate and if I travel lightly. But in our case, with 2 big Rimowa Lugages the Room was a bit small.

Well looked after as a HH Diamond member. Room upgraded to a big room. Staff were able to accommodate me 1 hour early than the advertised check in time and I was very tired.

Very clean rooms, which is very important to me. From the conceirge, to the check-in, and the cleaners were friendly but professional which I appreciated.

I would definitely come back to this property.

Recently had a wonderful stay here with my husband and our baby! The location is perfect and walkable to many top sights. The service of the staff was great. Room was very clean and they did give a complimentary upgrade as diamond members. Numerous options of tasty food for breakfast and they also have free candies and cookies in the reception area. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and great service. The rooms were clean and fairly priced.

Visited in late November. The heater worked great and it looked like there was air conditioning for the summer months. The King Deluxe was a little small and hard to lay things out and our balcony door unfortunately didn’t open all the way, but likely to being on 1st floor. We faced the street and it was a pretty quiet street given the area.

Enjoyed that the breakfast was served from 07-11, breakfast food and coffees were fine. Several options for vegetarians, not much for vegans. If it isn’t included with your stay, I would suggest finding a local spot for breakfast and coffees.

Again, location was amazing. Could not have stayed in a better spot. Easy for Uber and cabs to pick up and drop off as well. Easy to walk to all the must see places in town.

Would definitely stay here again!
