The mouse pads at reception need replacing, they look broken, which doesn't make a good first impression. In room 318, the fan behind the fridge is annoying and runs all night (far too loudly) - why weren't passive fridges with passive (silent) cooling used here? The cabinet to the minibar is worn out at the handles and needs replacing. And why the hell is there no toilet brush in the toilet in room 318 and why is there no ventilation? That was really disgusting and very unpleasant. A reason never to come back.
And the fact that the view from room 318 is of a construction site should be communicated or taken into account in the price, because nobody wants to have such a bleak view from their room on vacation - and on a birthday (which no one noticed), right? Simply mean.
What was really good was the breakfast, the variety and freshness of the food and the friendly staff at reception and at breakfast. Very good people, big compliments to everyone (except for the fact that the birthday wasn't registered). The staff is a reason to come back. Well-groomed people with good manners.

The one thing that beat the location (almost unbeatable) and the room (flawless) was the Staff! The most attentive group of young professionals I've ever met in the hospitality business! i recommend this hotel for your next stay in Madrid! A+ service!

We were part of a tour to take the Camino de Santiago and they put us up at this place. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. There breakfast was first class. They also have a nice roof top area where one can go to relax or hang out with friends. Would recommend this place. Nicely situation in downtown Madrid and walking distance to many scenic and historic areas.

Perfect service in a winning location! Most of the attractions are within walking distance and those further away have a metro station in front of the hotel entrance. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed very comfortable. The service was excellent, 5 star service! The breakfast is very tasty. Definitely a place to return to.

Great smallish boutique hotel very well located. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. My room was modern, well appointed and quiet. I especially liked the motorized external roller shades to block out light and noise. Breakfast was very good as well as the bar with an innovative cocktail menu. Gym was also very good especially for Europe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

An amazing hotel, right in the heart of Madrid. Very quiet and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was excellent with good variety. Superfriendly and helpful staff. Most of the tourist attractions in Madrid were at walkable distance.

The location is fantastic! Next to la Gran Via, many shops, the Plaza del Sol and a host of other neighborhoods. The hotel is small and simple but very well decorated and furnished, with comfortable rooms and large bathrooms. Housekeeping was excellent, room was cleaned daily really well, towels changed whenever requested, toiletries offered. Staying at the hotel includes access to a breakfast buffet which is HUGE, super complete, with delicious croissants and nespresso coffee (amongst many other things!). The staff at breakfast is very prompt and polite. The front desk staff are very professional and courteous. The hotel has a a neighboring restaurant that can be accessed from inside the hotel and the staff there was great as well, very warm, helpful and welcoming. All in all I would recommend this hotel to everyone...and would definitely return.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in! The pleasant stay greatly influenced our entire vacation in Madrid. The location is excellent, in the city center, but not in the noisy part. The rooms are pleasant and clean, a wonderful and varied breakfast and above all, outstanding service!! The entire staff goes out of their way to give the visitors a good and personal feeling. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a modern, well designed, quiet and very pleasant hotel.
