spacious room, friendly staff. breakfast selection is not great, but it is ok if you stay only one or two nights. good balue for the money

Booked and paid for a stay for 2 nights and wasn't able to stay at the hotel. Staff was unforgiving and rude about the situation. Due to a mix up with the trains we were unable to make it to Madrid the first night of the reservation. Even though we had paid for two nights we were not able to stay the second night at the hotel when we arrived. The front desks staff's rudeness turned us away, enabling us to find a nicer, less expensive hotel down the street.

BOOK ONLY IF DESPARATE!! Went 08-2017 for 3 nights with my wife & what a farce. Air Conditioning-BROKE, Hair Dryer-BROKE, TV-BROKE, 4 out of 5 Electrical Sockets-BROKE, Ice Machines on 3 differents floors-BROKE, Check-in Assistant-RUDEST MAN I HAVE EVER MET (cannot use his PC for my internet request but has Youtube running in the background!!), Check-Out Assistant-2ND RUDEST MAN I HAVE EVER MET (snatches paperwork out of my hand as he had given me the wrong piece of paper), Cracked walls, missing paint and broken tiles in the bathroom.

The hotel is near to all the famous places like "El corte inglés", "Zara", "Gran Vía". The accomodation is incredible

Located just outside the main tourist area, which was great because it meant a more neighborhood feel. Good restaurants are nearby, as is a metro stop. Many tourist sites are walkable if you don’t mind a bit of a longer walk. Hotel recently became part of IHG. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious, very clean, attention to detail (see photos). The only thing that I didn't like was sound that the doors to the room made when they closed. The "click" right at the end is loud (heavy doors?) - I hope this will be improved. The breakfast area is small, but cozy. The food is always fresh and there is enough variety.

During my 3 days stay in this hotel, it was apparent that noise was an issue. Maybe it was that my room was on the first floor, but on a Saturday night, I could hear a party keep me up late into the night. The staff on my arrival were quite short, almost rude. In my check in, they offered up few words, and only told me my room number after staring at the screen for a few minutes. The location is good in relation to the nearest metro station (across the street), also to food and other interesting attractions. The wifi was fine during my stay as well. Given the negative I encountered, I would say keep searching for a better fit for a stay here in Madrid.

For 3 srar hotel, it's difficult to say it's good.
Good: Very convenient area. Only 2 minutes walk from Metro. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds and room. Room always warm (January).
Bad: No refregiator. It will be terrible in summer. We left Coke and mineral water outside of the window but it can be dangerous for pedestrians.
No hot water pot, coffee and tea in the room. Doesn't look like 3 star hotel. No hot foods or salads (except tomato's) for breakfast.

Friendly staff, nice area less than 2 minutes to Subway. You can even get a nice 25 minutes walk to the City center. All the basic equipment are there. Don't expect too much from the gym.
