Reviews
There was a lot of choice for breakfast, and everything was tasty. Staff were lovely and helpful, but they did end up loosing my pajamas. They promised to get back to me to let me know if it's been found and I've never heard from them. They never offered anything to make up for it and ended up disregarding my request completely once I checked out. I am disappointed because they lost my property so the least I expected was a courtesy call. You leave your items in the room and expect to find them when you return.
Other than this incident I was happy with the hotel, and the overall stay.
Just a tiny bit surprised that breakfast is not included when you go for the suite, but I say this more like a suggestion than a complaint, I definitely knew what I was booking.
Breakfast is okay, not many options but scrambled eggs and pan au chocolate were nice.
Positives: The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The lobby area is very nice and there are 2 elevators. The location is good. It's less than 10 mins walk to Gran Via and there are metro stations less than 10 mins away too. Overall, it's a nice hotel in a nice area and its good value for money. We felt welcomed and safe as a lesbian couple.
Location was okay, service was average. We asked for a different pillow as they were VERY stiff and till this moment I have not received a swap, apparently the hotel is full and they couldn’t provide me with another one.
The room on the other hand was horrible.
I burned myself taking a shower because the temperature kept fluctuating without me changing it. The blow dryer had NO power and was barely working and I had to ask for a replacement. The cleanliness of the house keeping is also not very good. I followed the instructions on swapping towels and it was not done properly. And let’s not talk about the floor being SUPER dirty, no mopping, my feet were black…..I am super disappointed.
I don’t know if it’s because they were busy, but it was overall not a great experience for the amount I paid.
You should definitely opt for the complimentary breakfast, it’s worth it!
The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable and clean. Here and there you’ll find some dirty or dusty spots in the room, but that’s about it when it comes to negative points.
