Two days in a row, the hotel staff knocked on our door and then entered our room on their own, startling us all awake. The staff offered no apology, something we'd never experienced before. Finally, we complained to the front desk, and they simply told us to hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.
my room had no view (no sunlight) but the alleys of the building.
No central heating in the room but there was an air conditioner.
There was a construction in the hotel with alot of disturbing sounds. You can’t have a nap in the afternoon. Raoul or Rafael a new employee there was very nice customer service person. Lovely, welcoming and helpful.
Quite a few stairs on the seventh floor to get to our room from the elevator which were highly inconvenient with heavy suitcases. Room lacking basic amenities such as tissues. Broken hairdryer, clogged drain, soap dispenser empty, many small issues — no big problems, easy to fix but many.
Breakfast is okay but staff again rude (knocked door into customer and just stared). Might be a cultural difference but I’ve not seen such service anywhere in the world.
Location is good.
