Petit Palace Posada del Peine Mini-hotel

This must be the best location of any hotel in Madrid. 50 meters to Plaza Mayor and 200 meters to Plaza del Sol! Just outside, 7 meters , yes I measured it, is a nice restaurant where you can sit and look at the busy city life, they had great food and drinks too. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good! Our room was nice and had a view to the little square just outside the hotel. The room was clean and tidy with everything you expect, the beds are comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel!

My room was quite big and nice and to be honest, it had the best hotel bed ever! Location is great, staff is nice and helpful. Remember, this is a lively area, so sometimes during the night you can hear people in the streets, but that didn't bother me. Also, I didn't really get much sunlight in my room, as it was in one of the lower floors. Yet, that is due to the neighboring buildings and I really can't complain for the deal that I got! I would definitely recommend the Petit Palace Posada del Peine, price/value are unbeatable!

Brilliant hotel located in the centre of Madrid. The breakfast was great every day very fresh with a great selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful in particular Gabriel and the young girl Ana they were both very helpful on arrival and also gave advice of places to visit we love Madrid and will definitely be back.

Very nice hotel! Extremely central between Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Stayed four nights and had a corner room, not very big but well planned and with a big flexible shower in the bathroom. Very good cleaning of the room where towels and shampoo etc was replaced daily. The breakfast buffee was very good and had Nespresso coffee machines. Good opening hours of the buffet now in the summer (7:30-11), however I was not able to enjoy it the last day as I had to leave early for my flight. Read in the blog, where I got to know about this hotel, that the wifi is supposed to be really good, however I did not try it myself. Also, kind recepetion at check-in and check-out. The only negative could be that as the building is old you could overhear the other room somewhat, and also people from the street outside as there are people out all night given its central location, however no traffic from vechicles. I would certainly go here again if I was to return to Madrid on vacation.

Had an enjoyable stay with the family. Kids enjoyed. City centre and loads of options to go around. Very close to metro station and local joints. Some of the best restaurants around. One particular Churros and chocolate place was close by and we went every 6 hours to eat :)

Bang in the middle of Madrid. Modern hotel even though the room in some areas could do with some maintenance. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Decent speed WiFi which is free.
