I guess we were lucky to have known about this hotel coincidentally !
We were staying in one of the most prestigious and expensive hotels last year. I wasn’t very happy about the price as compared to what we have gotten ! We were walking in the area and saw Urban Hotel. I liked the look of the hotel and the attendant invited us in. The hotel was very elegant , luxurious and glamorous.
Therefore, we stayed in it this year and guys I was very impressed about everything.
It’s worth all the money ( although it’s half the price of the hotel we stayed in last year). The room is very spacious with a big bathroom. The bed is very comfortable 😊
The staff are very friendly and welcoming with the guests. The breakfast is varied and very good.
We decided Urban Hotel will be our choice every time we come to Madrid.

Stayed there 5 nights. This is a very nice hotel nicely appointed and at an excellent location. But what really sets this hotel apart is the level of attention and service you receive from the moment you arrive at the door. From the doorman (special recognition to Juan Manuel, a true professional) to the front desk and cleaning staff. The front desk was very welcoming, immediately offering their service. They will help you with tours, money exchange, taxi requests and even make restaurant reservations for you. Highly recommended

I had a deeply disappointing experience with the front desk manager, Jose, at Hotel Urban. While the hotel itself was satisfactory, Jose's rude and dismissive behavior during checkout completely overshadowed my stay.
We were asked to pay an additional parking charge, which we were fine with. However, the issue was that we were never informed about this charge at the time of booking or during our stay. When we suggested that the hotel should be more transparent in the future and inform guests of any additional fees upfront, Jose not only refused to acknowledge this but also belittled us by sarcastically stating, "I never assume if anything is free."
His tone was unprofessional, condescending, and unnecessarily rude, turning what could have been a simple conversation into a deeply unpleasant encounter. Instead of resolving the issue or at least listening empathetically, he made us feel unwelcome.
This experience ruined not only my impression of the hotel but also my overall experience of Madrid. Hotel Urban should seriously evaluate how their staff, especially someone in a managerial position, interacts with guests. Hospitality requires respect and understanding, and unfortunately, Jose demonstrated neither. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values courteous service.

This hotel is phenomenal- from the extraordinary kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff, the perfect location, and delicious breakfast buffet to the comfortable rooms- I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. We were thrilled to receive excellent shopping tips and restaurant recommendations from your staff.
Also, breakfast servers were efficient and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a multitude of options for a healthy start to the day.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. A nice touch was the stocked mini bar and red rose that we received upon our arrival.
Location is wonderful and within walking distance to all of the major sites. The Hotel Urban is fantastic. Thanks for making our stay in Madrid so memorable!!!

Staff are beyond helpful and super friendly. Our room was spacious and although a tad bit worn, quite modern.
Location is perfect too. But be warned, don't get a room near elevator --its quite noisy early in the morning and late at night.
Bar is cool and lobby is even cooler.
Can't wait to return.

Truly one of the best hotel experiences during our Europe vacation. The location is unbeatable, rooms are beautiful and comfortable, hospitality is excellent, breakfast is amazing. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone traveling to Madrid.

I had an extended stay at the Hotel Urban from June - August 2024 and can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The staff are top-notch and are genuinely nice people, always making sure everything was the way I wanted and seeing how they could make my stay better. The housekeeping staff in particular are phenomenal. They're super friendly, do a great job of keeping the rooms clean, and are very fast when they need to be in your room. My room was comfortable and spacious, and the minibar was always well-stocked! The bed and pillows are very comfortable as well, always giving me a great sleep each night. The evening turn down service is also a nice touch. The location is hard to beat; about half way between Plaza del Sol and Calle del Prado; both are less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Very easy to catch taxis/Ubers from the hotel as well, and there are tons of great restaurants within a 10-minute walk. This was the second time I've stayed at the Hotel Urban, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Madrid.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Very helpful and charismatic staff with excellent recommendations for food and activities. Delicious buffet breakfast available to start your day and an upscale bar to finish your night. We will definitely stay again for the value of this 5-star hotel.

Had the best long weekend here at hotel Urban. Hotel is lovely, rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are super comfortable. The customer service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. It was my wife’s birthday while we’re were here and the staff provided her with a nice surprise in our room. Breakfast is great. There’s a buffer and hot meal menu too. And their bar downstairs makes the best cocktails. Try their Margaritas. They’re the best we’ve tasted. Thank you all the staff for making what was a potential nightmare stay (the airline lost all our luggage) into a very enjoyable long weekend away in lovely Madrid.

Spend two nights with 9 friends. From check in to check out, bar breakfast reception and guest services, everyone was nice, warm and welcoming. Anything that we need was there before we asked for it. The rooms were tasteful and spacious, the breakfast surprised with quality and variety. The hotel is as well located so good that we could do our 2 day visit to Madrid without taking any metro or bus. They recommended to us restaurants and make the reservation for us, and they treat us like kings. Thank you so much to the whole team
