We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little overpriced, but that is to be expected. The location was excellent. It took about 5 minutes to get from the train station by taxi. Everything was easy walking distance, especially the Prado and the Royal Palace. Don't miss the hotel museum, it's right behind the front desk. Great place to relax and have a glass of wine.

This is an amazing property, for us, right in the middle of everything we came to see and experience in Madrid. The service is above and beyond. So are the stately accommodations. Special acknowledgement to Concierge Manager Tania and Front Desk Manager Justyna for making this stay extra special!

Poor experience from the start, porter service only gets you to reception then we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs to the cramped elevators. Reception check in was archaic with two staff entering our details with one fingered typing (no scanners like most others use now).
Rooms were deplorable, dark and dank and overlooking the back alleyway. Renovation was ongoing as well so there was noise… the overall look and feel is of a place that has seen better days yet they dare to put a 5-star rating when things are looking old and falling apart.
Checked out 30mins after we arrived in our rooms and walked 5mins to the nearby JW Marriott which is truly a 5-star hotel… worlds apart from this one.
Don’t be fooled by the ratings… the only good thing about this place is the location so if you’re ok with an ambience that makes you want to kill yourself in, go ahead.

Very enjoyed our stay here! The staff are so friendly and accommodated any request we had. Room service is quick and the location is great! There are so many restaurants and things to see near the area (within walking distance). The view from the balcony is beautiful. We would for sure comeback here again! The only minor thing, the sound isolation of the building is not as strong, and we could hear our neighbours laugh during the night.

We’ve been checked into this hotel recently. All the stuff are so kind and politeness，thanks to them. And there’s nice view from our room which we can see sunrise. It’s also an artistic atmosphere hotel who’s even own a museum at 1st floor. What’ more，it’s a historical building builded in 1990，and it’ really beautiful inside and outside.

This was an amazing stay and for a very cheap price.
The main thing I’d say was the service. Everyone was super nice and helpful. We felt very well welcomed. They allowed us for a later check out and helped with luggage.
Rooms are pretty nice and fairly big with nice balcony.

Perfectly clean large rooms, friendly staff, located right next to the Prado museum. Beautiful green marble bathrooms with double vanities. We really enjoyed our stay here. They also offered free drinks refilled daily in the minibar which I found extremely helpful, since we weren’t going grocery shopping in Madrid. Don’t come here for the tiny pool or the fitness center, which consists of a single Peloton. I wouldn’t pay extra for the room with a view again next time though, the view from the second floor was underwhelming due to the size of the trees.

Wonderful experience, great room with an incredible view. The service was top notch. We really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The staff were so kind and attentive. The hotel is located in the perfect area within walking distance of many great sights and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Everything was well planned. From the time you get there, you are treated well. Courteous bellman to the person at the desk checking you in to the day you check out. They all helped in getting you to know Madrid for a short stay. This hotel does treat you as a 5 star guest.

Hotel location is superb and the service is just outstanding soon as you checking. Front desk and housekeeper makes sure the stay is pleasant and relaxing. Staff goes the extra mile to make sure our 25th anniversary is perfect 10 from every angle of the services. Front desk agent surprised us with nice gesture of chocolate strawberries and champagne... SUPERB service. Go and spent a night and you will discover what is the definition of SERVICE is....
