We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff is incredibly kind, funny and attentive, they truly made us feel welcome. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, the main promenade, the old town, shops and restaurants are plenty around. It is also very convenientl We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!It’s also conveniently close to the main train station and the tram to the airport. The breakfast was excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was very pleasant. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience for all the family. The facilities are perfect for everyone and the hotel is so close to the beach and cafe/restaurants.
The breakfast was delicious, complimentary hot and cold drinks, beach towels and beach umbrella’s were a bonus.
Most importantly the staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly, we would highly recommend!

Great stay at Hotel The Jay! The best part of our stay by far was the excellent service and kindness by the staff. In particular we interacted with Alain upon check in and several subsequent times — he was very kind and accommodating, remembering our names whenever we saw him.

The only downsides to the place I could report were that the A/C had a tough time keeping up with the heat so our first night was quite hot. In the morning, we asked Alain about it and he explained that it was because it’s been much hotter than usual this month. He quickly procured a fan for us and this made a huge difference for our second night!

Besides that, the room was quirky but very nice and comfortable; the location was excellent— near the beach and restaurants but also quiet and protected. We had our own balcony where we could drink our coffee (provided). Also loved the refillable water stations!

Overall, highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a budget option with amazing customer service!!

I had an amazing experience at The Jay Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel is both elegant and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax.

My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the comfortable bed and the modern bathroom. The location is also excellent – close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, yet peaceful enough for a quiet night’s sleep.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options, and the service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. I would definitely recommend The Jay Hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel The Jay in Nice, France, and I can honestly say it was the best hotel experience I have ever had.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and secure. The front desk staff were not only professional and knowledgeable but also exceptionally kind and friendly. Their warm hospitality made my trip truly memorable—something that stands out after traveling for over five decades. It was difficult to leave the wonderful people that I met at The Jay. I would like to mention everyone but have to send a special thank you to Liliana. She went above and beyond to make my trip special.

The hotel is in an ideal location, making it easy to explore the beauty of Nice. My room was very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. I especially appreciated the kitchenette, which included a refrigerator, small sink, cooktop, and microwave— perfect for preparing a meal and staying "home" occasionally. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved that complimentary coffee, tea, and water were always available.

In terms of cleanliness and amenities, everything was top-notch. The comfort, convenience, 1920s decor, and stellar service make The Jay a standout.

I give Hotel The Jay a solid 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nice. I look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel bathroom is relatively large, the facilities are relatively old, it is very close to the British Avenue, and it is very convenient to see the sea.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, beautifully designed in a charming retro style, and included a lovely balcony - perfect for relaxing after a day by the sea. The location is great, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach.

Nicest staff I encountered in a while! So attentive and genuinely friendly!
Free coffee and quality tea all day at the lobby, super clean, great breakfast included with fresh french croissants, pastries, eggs, cheese and more.
For a 4-star hotel the design and the attention to detail is so good and soothing. Even the plates and mugs at breakfast are the same color scheme as the lobby and the rooms.
We slept great. Very quiet, calm energy, the curtains blocked 100% of the light so we could sleep in.
The location is 5 minutes walk from the beach and walking at distance from all the main sites
There's a Carrefour downstairs and an induction stove in the room, so you can also cook for yourself.
Excellent value for money!
