Had a wonderful visit in Nice at this hotel. Wonderful location on the promenade. Able to walk all over Nice, restaurants, old town. Had a garden room looking over the museum. Loved the breakfast selections and the seating area in front of the hotel. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back.

The rooms have been recently updated.
We stayed in room 503. Very clean, newly remodeled, with view of a buildings roof line. The convenient “included breakfast” had a good selection of options ,such as precooked scrabbled eggs, a machine to boil eggs, another to make small pancakes and self serve automatic coffee machine with lattes, cappuccinos etc. it also had salads, fruit, cereal and cold cut meats.
It is within walkable distance to Old Town Nice and shopping areas. The staff were very helpful.
CONS: I had booked it because they advertised with parking available, but when I showed up they said I had a big van and it would not fit on their parking and recommend to park at Parking Meyerbeer, which is around the block from the hotel but had to pay €42 daily rate.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We met Anne and Andrien (management of the hotel), whom were professional, friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure the guests are enjoying their stay.
The guest room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea.
The breakfast was excellent—a nice variety to choose from. The hotel is centrally located to many restaurants, shops and attractions (walkable). We recommend the
West End Hotel for your stay in Nice.

We stayed at Hotel West End in Nice for three nights, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. While the location is undeniably excellent—right on the Promenade des Anglais with a beautiful ocean view (which we paid extra for)—the room itself was far from comfortable.
The room had only one electrical outlet, and none in the bathroom, which made charging devices and using appliances inconvenient. The mattress was old, soft, and sagging, offering little support and poor sleep quality. Basic amenities were lacking: no face cloths were provided, and housekeeping failed to replenish the morning coffee supplies during our stay.
The bathroom design was particularly problematic. The shower only had a partial glass partition, which caused water to spill onto the floor every time we used it. The tub was extremely slippery with no grab handle, making it genuinely hazardous to get in and out safely.
Overall, the hotel’s charm ends at its location. For the price and the reputation, we expected far better. We won’t be returning.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Our room had a breathtaking sea view where we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. Delicious breakfasts, perfect location right across from the beach, and stunning surroundings. I stayed with my friend, a photographer, and we captured so many beautiful moments — this place is a dream for photos and videos. Can’t wait to return!

We recently stayed here hoping for a relaxing time by the beach with my fiancé and
my mom. While the location and breakfast were truly beautiful and the beachfront view is undeniably the highlight, our experience left a lot to be desired. Especially when it came to basic comfort and safety.
Unfortunately, the lock on our room door didn’t work properly, which made us uneasy. We had to change rooms just so my mom could feel safe (meaning we didn’t get new rooms. My mom switch rooms with my fiancé and I). Not exactly the peace of mind you expect on vacation. The new room wasn’t much better: it lacked soundproofing, the air conditioning was very weak, and there were visible stains around the bathroom sink. Even trying to watch TV was a challenge: the nextflix didn’t work, and it said something about it not connecting to a network. There were major cracks on the ground. The balcony was dirty, with spiders, and not cleaned for the duration of our time staying there. Too many bugs to open the window.
This place has potential. The beach is right there, and the breakfast was excellent. But safety, and cleanliness, especially when you’re paying for more than just the view.
I truly hope management sees this feedback as a chance to raise the standard and deliver the kind of experience the location deserves.

Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends.
Really friendly staff, great location opposite the beach and a short walk to the town/markets.
Rooms are fine for the weekend. We had a double and a triple. Air con in the double wasn't great. Much better in the triple. Decor is a little dated and nothing worth not returning/recommended.
The breakfast is phenomenal! Loved the member of staff said if there was anything we wanted that wasn't there to ask... everything was there and delicious

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Clean rooms, fresh towels each day and fresh bedding. Staff very informative and friendly. Upon arrival the reception staff took time to show us a map of the area and places of interest to visit. Pool table and free tea and coffee between certain times of the day in the reception area so if your leaving your room at 12 noon and your flight isn't till later you have access to the drinks, shower area and they will store your suitcases. The air conditioning is lovely in the rooms and isn't noisy unless you have it on max speed which you don't need too as it's adequate on low level. The only issue is the windows do open but don't stay open as the tend to close too they don't have a catch and it's rather noisy with it open but didn't need it open. The hotel is situated opposite the beach just a road dividing it. You will need to hire sun beds as the beach isn't sand but stones and very painful on bare feet even when you get into the sea the bottom is stones and painful. The sun beds are 30 euros each 😮 but you get a towel, umbrella and waiter service for the day, bit expensive but good to try once. Never tried the hotel for breakfast but evening cocktails and desserts were very good quality.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, best part of this hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet, excellent location! However, the state of our rooms was quite disappointing. The rooms have not been kept up well. Some outlets didn’t work, horrible ineffective 1970’s hair dryer attached to the wall, banged up dirty walls, peeling/chipped paint and ripped carpeting. Outdated and not maintained well unfortunately. Also worth noting, we had a double room and also a triple room. Double bathroom was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen. Triple bathroom has shower and sink upstairs, with toilet downstairs (just toilet no sink). So if you’re sleeping in the twin bed upstairs, you must go down spiral staircase to use the toilet, and back up to wash hands. Shower height is about 5’8” floor to ceiling. Also, NO iron or steamer in room - you must go to a shared ironing room in the basement (NO THANK YOU!). Housekeeping service was good though. I honestly feel this hotel should be a 3 star hotel.
