Campanile Nice Aeroport

Boycotting this hotel, booked wrong dates but immediately tried contacting Agoda and property, but they denied the amendment. It’s not like I am not staying? It’s only just a change of dates of a reservation that is even 3 months away? Service level is 0, not recommended.

Obviously convenient for the airport. Rooms do the job. But to me customer service was lacking. The woman at the front was not welcoming at all upon check in. Enough so that I’m bothering to leave a review…

I stayed at this Hotel for one night.Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed that I have been charged twice for my stay. I asked the receptionist regarding this , and both her and a duty managment were quick to defend the policy of the hotel.
Saying that one payment is the actual payment of the stay including extra 2 euros as a city tax and the other payment is authorisation.
Which during the conversation they mention it will be refunded on my departure and it will show in my bank account after 2 days.
Although I insisted to show them my bank statement, where it shows that the payment for the stay was taken twice .
I found this to be very dishonest practice on the Hotel part , as there was no explanation of this practise when I checked in , and i was asked straight way to make the payment on the card , even though i booked through Booking.com and gave them authorisation of the payment.
Frustrating to say the least , being patronised by duty manager , that I wasn’t able to understand what he meant when he called one payment “authorisation” and other one the “real” payment.
Disgusted.

Will not stay here again. Other than the front desk staff being super attentive the facility needs attention. Walls in bar are in disrepair, staff in bar is too busy to pay attention. Local hotel to the airport in Nice but not the best choice and overpriced!
