King George, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens

Location is great, right across Syntagma Square and you get all access to the Gran Bretagne.
Service was really good. The rooms were beautiful. Highly recommend as it is a smaller hotel than most.

Unbeatable location in Athens in Syntagma Square. Rooms are pricey but small. We had the suite with courtyard view and was the same size as a regular room in Dubai and very dark. Nice, however, to get local liqueur as a welcome gift. Breakfast was good but the true winner was the view of the acropolis. We preferred the breakfast at the sister hotel Grande Bretagne as they had fresh yogurt and more variety.

While the hotel has been renovated the suite we had was comprised of several small rooms with a gigantic and essentially useless dressing/closet area. The light switches were incredibly confusing and I'm a 30 year construction person.

The bar next door had great views although the bartender thought a martini meant martini & rossi

The best experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. Between the King George and their sister property next door, my wife and I were able to explore all the amenities- spa, pool, sauna, steam rooms, both gyms, and more. Everything was top quality and exceptional. We said multiple times that this hotel greatly exceeded our expectations in every way. When we booked it we knew it was nice, but the feeling of grandeur, the amenities, and the staff made it perfect. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind and willing to help with any question or request. Lastly, we ate at Tudor Hall one night (Michelin star restaurant on 7th floor of hotel) and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this hotel and its people any more highly.

We had late flight out of Athens and our plan was to site see all day but it ended up being 100 degrees Fahrenheit that day. They even close the acropolis. We called to see if we could get a day use room and they were completely booked. The staff and manage can't say NO. The service found a way to provide us with a room until 5pm and we were so grateful. Best staff and great rooms. Really really good location and the restaurant has an amazing view of the city.

This is one of THE BEST hotel we stayed. The service was amazing. Stella at concierge desk was extremely helpful.
Having breakfast every morning with a spectacular view of Acropolis was truly exceptional. The breakfast staff treat you like family. Katholiki was very attentive.
Finally and above all having dinner at TUDOR HALL a Michelin star restaurant enjoying the spectacular night view of Acropolis.

Right in the center of Athens. This hotel is amazing. The history, art, decorating was all impeccable inside. Breakfast every morning with a view of the Acropolis was a plus too. The entire staff made for an even better stay. Very attentive, professional, and always had a great attitude. Hope to be back again.

Location is so great and services are so good! My wallet was stolen nearby the hotel and the security guards are very helpful to solve the problem. I enjoyed my stay here for few days! Furthermore, the breakfast is very impressed! The view was amazing and food / service were excellent! My wife and I certainly will visit here again!
