Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel

the hotel is very good is my 2nd year in a row you feel immediately welcome by the staff and the food is very tasty this year they have a very good addition to the bar that ensures a very friendly and smooth service thank you to maria for always the very smooth and good service and until next year

I stayed at Albatros Spa and Resort Hotel for 9 nights from early to mid June with my partner and overall we were both very happy with the stay we had. The best points: The hotel is in a great location (Close to the airport, beach, bars, restaurant, the harbour etc), great food options (The gyros were amazing, the salad bar options and dried fruit and seeds was perfect and the Moussaka was delicious). The themed food nights such as the Italian and Greek were our favourite and had great options such as gyros and various pasta dishes. The rooms were cleaned daily by lovely maids and this included clean towels every day. The hotel has 2 pools of good size with plenty of sun beds and seating areas outside and no people reserving sunbeds. Our room was modern and furnished lovely and was modern. The cocktails are the bar was lovely especially the pina colada (Although a bit over priced in my opinion). We did a Greek cooking lesson as part of the entertainment one day and we enjoyed it, as well as other entertainment such as dancing and signing (Not the piano man though). Reception staff are helpful and welcoming on arrival and departure. We were supplied with water in our fridge in our room on arrival, which is typical for a 5 star hotel and was appreciated, although would've been nice if this was stocked each day. There is plenty of space inside and outside the hotel to relax. The hotel stocks lovely wine options and we enjoyed a bottle of rose and white whilst we were there for an acceptable price. Free wifi which is always appreciated. Some slight criticisms (Things that could easily be improved to make it even better in my opinion): The bed sheets were not changed once in the 9 nights we stayed. We did not have the nicest view from our balcony. However, we did book one of the cheaper rooms which didn't guarantee a good view, so it was fair enough. The food on the hot count sometimes was barely warm. They offer wine tasting on a Tuesday, which seemed fun however, we missed it both Tuesdays we were there unfortunately as it finished so early. A waitress wouldn't let me try wine options before buying a bottle, which is something I've never experienced in a bar/ restaurant. You are not allowed to bring your own drinks to dinner, even water so unfortunately you are forced to buy their over priced water so your not thirsty with dinner and a 5 star hotel should at least offer water for guests for free with their dinner. The fruit on the fruit bar at breakfast and dinner on some days seemed old which was a shame. There is only one water dispenser out for breakfast which meant a long que just to get a cup of water. There is a lack of labels for the food options, I would be worried for people with allergies. Overall for what me and my partner paid and experienced I would recommend the Spa and Resort Hotel.

Amazing hotel, quiet location Food is great with different options to choose from. Staff is polite and friendly. They working very hard everyday ensuring guests are satisfied We were travelling with a teenage daughter, we absolutely loved it! Definitely come back next year!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was clean and had everything we needed. If I had one small complaint it was that food on the buffet was never very hot ( understandable when feeding so many guests). Having said that, there was always a good choice on offer. The hotel is situated in a good place for bars and restaurants. We went on a great day trip to Agios Nikolaos, Elouda and Spinalonga which I would recommend.

Excellent hotel in the ideal location near everything. Room lovely i upgraded to superior with pool view. Staff very friendly. Pool bar great with food lovely.5 min walk to beach and bars. Plenty of beds around pool which are very comfy. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful clean hotel to an high standard. Exceptional service. Excellent selection of food. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Surrounding areas very clean and kept tidy for example pool area. We had booked 2 rooms and loved how the rooms were joined with the joined balcony. Great view over the pool. We will be back

We had a wonderful stay at Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the calm atmosphere. The food was varied and tasty with something for everyone. Great location — just a few steps from the sea and close to everything. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable all the members of staff were so friendly and helpful. The food, although only warm, was tasty and varied, with plenty of options. The hotel is in a good position , very close to the beach , harbour , bars and shops.

It was an excellent choice for us, we spent here a week with a rented car. Food is good and different every day, staff is very friendly, just if you stay only in the hotel it's a bit boring. We traveled every day to different daily journeys. And that combination was excellent with this hotel. Parking is free on the nearby streets, the hotel does not have its own parking. It was not difficult to find a parking every day, but that could be different with a busy season. In overall, good value for money. BTW, the beach next to hotel is not excellent, there are stones if you enter the water. Recommend :)

Hotel location is very good,3 minute walk to the beach,8 minute walk to pubs and restaurants,a lively area.staff in the hotel 10/10 very friendly and welcoming,evening buffet average,cool rather than hot.cauppichino poor cold,rooms very good standard.50euro tax each on arrival was an unpleasant suprise7
