Amazing water park, perfect for both kids and adults! There are so many different types of pools and entertainment areas for children, as well as a great variety of sauna rooms for adults

I especially loved the outdoor pool that connects directly to the indoor one — you can even swim out! We didn’t get a chance to stay in the hotel

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel

Great location, close to the airport Rooms where a bit dated, not much but just needs a slight facelift i. the apartment rooms contains an old school microwave, decor needs a uplift but otherwise very satisfied

Pure happiness! This place has got everything you need! We loved the kids club which is open everyday 9am-9pm. So much fun! The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come back!

The hotel is of very high quality. The staff's English level is mostly low, many times they don't speak English at all, but the quality of the hotel and the connection to a water park and other services equalize it

This was my first time in this hotel and I tell you I’m Very surprised how great this hotel is. Everything about was wonderful. We had full body scrub and facial. Our therapist were Kinga and Greti

I receive many facials but these facials were on the tops. The spa area is very beautiful,very relaxing. Beautiful pool , jacuzzi and hydro water. Wish they would have more lounge chairs, but overall was great

We stayed at the hotel with the whole family, at the end of July and beginning of August. It should be noted that the attitude of the hotel employees is very good. The employees are very helpful

I loved the different milk options like soy, coconut, almond rice milk. Also many joghurt and kefir choices. Also many tea coffee juice option. Also dinner choices were great

The food at hotel was all very good, and we very much liked the fact that they offered more local choices on the menu and not just the standards. There were no issues, and we were not nickel and dimed during our stay

A very beautiful and comfortable hotel in Zalakaros, next to the Zalakaros Thermal Bath. The all-inclusive option offered an extremely wide selection. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It’s quiet space in the rooms and the view is to the woods / quiet and peaceful… the food is great / breakfast / lunch and dinner great choice of domestic varieties of food and the desert even better / thumbs up to the kitchen !!! there are lot of indoor pools with lots of options for children to play and have fun … lifeguards watching everywhere and take care In the evening the animation program...

Rooms were very spacious and clean, food was very good. This hotel is very kids frendly. Very good organisation for new year celebration. Every day was something new, for kids very fun

The location of the hotel is perfect. Staff are very warm hearted 4 minutes walkable to the city center. The sauna facilities is very new and maintained good. The hotel room is a bit small but they offer extra bed

The reception is very helpful and thanks to them. I got the limited Lake Cave boat tour ticket. The playground is free and the paid mini golf are very interesting and good for family trip

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent wellness facilities including a cave for therapeutic relaxation. Good choice of food and plenty of it. Love this place.

Fantastic hotel. It's the kind of hotel that might not look the most modern or newest but it has that old-school type of service and amenities that make it the best experience you can have. Highly recommended!

The food at the restaurant was very delicious (especially the gulyash). I would definitely visit it again in the future

Great place, nice service, excelent food. The menu is in 3 languages, the service was outstanding. It is situated in the city centre, every touristic objective is close. We think the restaurant has the best food in town

What a lovely town Gyula is and what a good find the Komlo Hotel was too! I was only here for a few nights but found the staff, food and general condition of the hotel to be excellent

This is a very nice hotel. Classic historic style. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner with room. Parking available. In the heart of the city. Highly recommend.

Rooms small/compact, no bottled water. Safe instructions were for the wrong safe & we had to go down to get a key, no phone in the room. Breakfast was nice, fresh bread & some pastries.

Spa and skypool are nice, there's no reason to go to the Zalakaros aquapark/spa to be honest. The location is nice, right beside a new pond and (the main) park in Zalakaros, perfect for going for walks

Oh and the jacuzzi bubble function in our suite kept either turning on randomly (with no water in the tub, the tub turned off) , or making loud noises all throughout the night (hard to describe the sound, like the pump kept turning on for a split second, over and over)

I guess I could have asked for new robes at the reception desk, it's more the principle than anything, why would the cleaning staff put 2 tiny robes in a room, in a hotel where 90% of guests are couples? The boxspring under my mattress had a nasty squeek from a worn out spring, which woke my wife every time I got into/out of bed during the night

They've yellowed over the years and the pillows just feel cheap - like those ultra cheap pillows with the foam chunk filling. The hotel is in need of a complete pillow, blanket and bed linens refresh

The bath robes we were given were children's size, like literally children's size, my wife's robe was too small for her and she's only 150cm tall

I guess if I had to critique something it would be the bedsheets (pillow and blanket specifically) are starting to show their age

But then there were a number of things that were not to our liking: the pools in the spa are too cold and seem very unkempt, and the fact that you have to pay extra for the sauna (where very little works) is incomprehensible

The room had a balcony which was nice place to chill after a day out with beers bought from the local supermarket. The thermal pool is very nice to chill in…. Hungarian and German is spoken and no English

Food is very heavy and salty… hotel includes free water, coffee and juice but only till 6pm…. 😳 Our room had a king bed which was two singles pushed together, which moved apart overnight

It's not the most extravagant thermal hotell, but everything is quite nice. What makes it unbeatable is the value. A weekend for two people cost us around 300€ including the bath as well as breakfast and dinner

From this perspective, the "quite nice" rooms and bath and the "pretty decent" food suddenly become an amazing bargain! + The staff was allso super friendly and helpfull

Important! If you want a massage, you might have to book it in advance(before you arrive). Otherwise, there might be no free timeslots left

Perfection !! I loved it all, but I have to say the breakfast was the BEST we had in Hungary, beating all the other luxury hotels in the area including, Novotel

Hotel is near the lake which is great. Regarding food, some dishes were excellent, some a little bit less (sweets). Garage parking could be cheaper.

What was great: - Breakfest, Dinner, all you can eat and many types of meal. - Welness and swimpool were great. What could be better: - In our room was AC not working. - Head of the shower was caught by mold

We flew across the ocean, arrived 2 hours earlier, but they gave us the keys right away, as if they were waiting for us. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need to spend 10 days comfortably

The restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner is simply amazing in its variety. and everything is amazingly delicious. The service in the restaurant is also extremely professional

Everything was perfect: dining (breakfast and dinner), you can easily reach the thermsl spa of Zalakaros via subway under the road. Each room has a balcony, if you are lucky, you get a room with a view to the hills

You can bring your pet with you

There is no doubt that the hotel is outdated, but it is super clean and the food is very nice and tasty. Service at the diner is half of the RB hotel price

Even if the hotel was stuck in the 80s, you would have a good time. The only downside is that with Freya Hotel, you do not get access to Thermal World

dinner got a different selection each day and over all fine , the issue is that they dont supply any drink even water (you need to pay for it pluse service) , it was very annoying as the waiters got bussy so you left thersty untill they get time to take an order and bring it to you( so drink before, one evening we got asked for a glass of water by the table next to us as they where so thersty)

Amazing food, large, comfy and kids-prepared rooms, very good pools and wellness, also an adult-only wellness. And yes, in the Bobo Fun Park, both parents and kids can have fun and break a sweat

Amazing hotel , especially for kids. Lots of kids activities, playgrounds and so many. Indore pool is very good and the kids played for several hours, it was warm and in good temperature

Regarding food was a bit dissapointing. brackfast felt to much the same after three days as there not to much variety

Very nice hotel specially made for kids. Negative review is about the fact no water is provided for diner and stuff knew very little English. Food was great, even cater for gluten free food. The facilities were very good

Great hotel for families. A lot of outside playgrounds for different aged kids. Indoor playgrounds, family pools - again for different aged kids family wellness and daycare included.

The pool in the adult area needs to be a bit warmer. It's not such a relaxing temperature, especially since half of it is outside. I wish they would change that

Decent resort with mixed results. Rooms are nice and clean with lots of hangers. Design is nice (depending on the taste), but water pressure on the 4th floor is horrible, especially when the hotel is over 1/2 full

The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to remove your swimsuit to use the sauna and Turkish bath

The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to use the sauna and Turkish bath WITHOUT swimsuits

A nice swimming pool, very clean and tidy. But the water glide was closed. Apparently because there where not much swimmers/kids. But it was a big disappointment for our daughter.

It had lots of pools, we enjoyed watching the stars from the outside thermal pool. Sauna department had two Finnish saunas 95 and 70 degrees, aroma sauna (45) and steam bath

We were at the funpark with two kids. 2 out of 3 slides were out of service, the additional entrance for the adult spa was definitely not worth it, the shower curtains were all stained, the hygene not really good

Came here on a Saturday and the experience was good, there’s a water park, thermal pool and sauna world (would recommend paying for this as soooo worth it and lots of variety)? The thermal pools were good, about 6 and a variety of temperatures and the water park had some good pools, overall a good way to spend the day

Sauna aroma treatment course excellent with light snacks and refreshment( plenty) had to pay extra but was worth it. Something for everyone meat, fish, vegetarian, same at breakfast. Everything is fresh and homemade

A reasonably priced hotel, clean rooms, very good food, several pools with different water temperatures, beautiful surroundings for cycling, located not far from the Slovenian border. There are various health offers

In the restaurant there is all kinds of food. The wellness in on the top floor. You can really relax and enjoy. As for the swimming area I can say only the best. The water is very hot where it has to be

Regular visitor of pool here. Great as they have this 33 m long inside pool for swimming and hot tubs and also sauna.

And I am sure we are not the only ones. If you plan to come here with kids, ask about the slides before you book. For the same price we could go somewhere else!!!

We spent only a night in this hotel, it was great. We needed a quiet hotel with sauna near to our home. The receptionist speak good german, the food was delecious, and the coctails excellent

The hotel has a very beautiful therme and spa, water slides and not far from the hotel I recommend a short walk (about 1,5km) to the model castles

Everything is great. Very clean in all areas. Food excellent. Missing just silent room in swimming pool area. Also check out at 10 am is very strange.

Upon arrival at the hotel we dealt with some problems. I want to appreciate the friendliness of the staff who came out in all helpful, specifically Mr. In the end everything was sorted out to our full satisfaction

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

Just visited relatives and had a dinner, but as I saw the hotel is perfect for families with kids. The room could be a little bigger. The food is at the highest level.

There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility is closed to you in this way

Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier

Friendly staff and great location in the town. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the new football stadium or the main square. A couple restaurants are right around the corner, and a Tesco is across the street.

The breakfast is simple, but always fresh - variety of 3 types of cheese, 2 salami, 2 ham, vegetables, omlett or fried egg, fruits, cornflakes, yoghurt, selection of breads

Very nice looking modern hotel. Food is very good has a huge repertoire of pools.

Luckily we went in the summer when everybody was able to use the outdoor pools as well, so it was not too crowded, but I do not know how busy it can get during autumn or winter

Very modern, comfortable hotel, offering modern, clean rooms with the only gripe being lack of coffee machine in room and the very low grade/thin towels, otherwise all good and also decent breakfast too.

The clock in the spa section needed new battery as it had stopped, etc). So it needed some TLC, but it was last year, hopefully they are OK in 2019. We found the spa section too small

We stayed there for 2 nights, we had a really good time. Food was excellent, on Friday there was some live music during dinner
