Excellent Hotel in the heart of Rome - clean, luxurious, beautiful....
We stayed here 9 nights in Nov 2024 and tremendously enjoyed the experience.
The staff are tremendously courteous, polite, kind and are dedicated to ensure you have an excellent stay.
We enjoyed the included breakfast everyday, including delicious espresso, cappuccinos, omelettes, smoked salmon, croissants, fruit, yogurt, cheeses and other delectable items.
The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable - see photos.
The location was excellent - 2 kms from everywhere - the train station, the Colosseum, Vatican City.....
Highly recommend.

Since the remodeling, staying here has been an absolute joy—but seriously, where’s the gym? The vibes are unmatched, especially if you’re an old soul with a young heart. The food is exquisite, the rooms feel like you’re stepping into a beautifully curated museum, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Above all, the staff truly makes the experience unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing stay! ❤️

My apologies for the 2 star review. I did not submit that on purpose, I may have accidentally hit a button on an open screen. I had a 5 star stay. Staff was amazing, room was great, location was great. I did have an issue with the A/C but it was handled immediately with a room exchange and everyone was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again if I return to Rome.

Beautiful renovations. We visited a week after they reopened and there were a few teething problems, without which it would have been 5 stars.
The cocktail bar serves excellent cocktails and is very snug. The breakfast was also excellent.

Shame about this hotel because it has a huge potential. Was woken up at 3am twice because of an alarm. The entire hotel was awaken. No apology or anything from staff. I was not asked how my stay was from anyone otherwise I would have mentioned that. Literally ruined my entire night and could not sleep anymore. I later was told that it was an employee that lit up a cigarette. Unacceptable!!!
On my second day of the breakfast they served me very watered down juices(they claim is cold pressed) and hot chocolate made with water. I asked for a particular dish from the menu and I was told that they won't have it for me because the kitchen was very busy when the restaurant was at most 30 percent full. I would stay again here however management clearly is failing. Until then I would recommend if you have 1100 euro to spend for a single night to book elsewhere. Other better choices where you will not see those service failures.

WORST hotel I’ve been stayed in Italy.
The room is dirty and tiny. The photos on their website are totally different from what the room is(because they only photoed renovated rooms). Looks like they’ve not updated the room for 100 years.
Stains on the shabby carpet and the floor is tilted….. every door is almost broken. The mirror and furnitures are disgusting. Hallway is smelly.
Even though I booked through Hyatt points, I still can’t believe there is room like this in a five stars hotel! I highly suspect these rooms are staff accommodation because I saw someone coming from next door. And the hall way looks exactly different on higher floors!
Last, to Hyatt: If you don’t wanna ruin your reputation, just stop cooperating with this hotel.

I had a very good experience at this beautiful hotel. The location is fantastic as the Spanish Steps are right around the corner.
This is a wonderful traditional hotel with lovely seating areas and an old fashion small bar.
The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, from the reception to the restaurant, the bar and the door staff.
The chef must be an important name of some sort because the food was very sophisticated.
Our room was a-m-a-z-i-n-g and truly worth the money. And last but not least, the view from the rooftop will take your breath away.

We popped in for a couple of drinks and to give our little 6 month old a break from the hot weather. We were looked after extremely well by the lovely bartender who made a great old fashioned for me whilst helping to entertain our baby daughter. Lovely decor all around a beautiful little luxury hotel with lovely staff.

No comparison. The staff at this hotel still understand what the service industry should be. I have never been more attended to at a hotel...and Ive stayed at many. Friendly and extremely welcoming check-in process, bar service was top tier, just fantastic. This is a historical hotel. So the furnishings reflect that of Old Luxury. If you are expecting neon lights and posh, new furnishings, stay somewhere else. It does have older items, especially in the Hyatt Rewards rooms, but they were clean, and thats all I care about. Breakfast buffet style appetizers tasted great. Cute little bar with a great bartender. I loved the orginal feel and if you want a unique stay, close to the fountain and steps, and be taken care of...this is your place.

I recently stayed at Hotel d'Inghilterra and while the rooms could use some updating, the location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. It's in the heart of Rome and within walking distance to many of the Rome's top attractions.
While the furniture in the room was quite old and could use an update, the service and staff were excellent. The concierge men were very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us with any requests we had.
Further, the electricity plugs in the room were also quite outdated and in need of an update. This was a bit inconvenient, but it did not detract too much from our overall experience at the hotel. The location and service made up for any minor inconveniences.
I agree that the breakfast menu could use some improvement in terms of variety, The breakfast offerings were quite limited, and it would be great to see some additional options added to the menu.
One of the unique features of this hotel is the ability to have your shopping purchases sent directly to the hotel. This was a great convenience for us and made our shopping experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good service. While the rooms/ electricity could use some updating, the location and amenities make up for it.
