We loved every minute of our 4 night stay at Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. The entire staff was very accommodating to us and made our stay nice. The rooms are extremely comfortable - automatic blinds, televisions in every room including the bathroom mirror, and luxurious beds. Great housekeeping services, too - turn down service, daily cleaning, and complete resetting of all the amenities each day. We can't wait to return!
Right next to Villa Borghese and walkable to all events and sites in central Roma. Plenty of dining, bars nearby.

We booked breakfast for our last morning in Rome. We did not stay at the hotel. The views were breathtaking! We ordered an egg dish each, then the french toast to share. They were all so delicious! Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was perfect. The finer details to make a stay extra special were present everywhere. Helpful and happy staff , excellent food and drinks , amazing views and atmosphere it the roof top restaurant. Every need was anticipated and provided with as smile. The rooms are super comfortable , modern and has everything we needed and more. Lots of treats to make you feel like a special customer. A short walk for the action but next to beautiful parks and a view of St Peters. No better spot !

My wife and I stayed here during our first trip to Rome and wow, what a great hotel. The gym was good, the breakfast was fantastic and had amazing views of the city. We didn't eat here for dinner because the prices seemed a bit exorbitant. The location was a bit away from the center of the city and seemed to be more in a business district but we enjoyed that aspect because it allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle. Being farther away required us to have to taxi everywhere which I think would've happened anyway since Rome is a much bigger city than the other cities we visited on our trip such as Venice and Florence. Whenever we need a taxi, the employee would call them for us and they would arrive quickly. The front desk also always had great recommendations for restaurants nearby. Hotel was missing a spa so if they had that, it would be even better. They also provided free waters which was very convenient since it was pretty hot during our stay. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast area was very nice with good views, but the food was mediocre and not up to the standard of a 5 star hotel. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and added a personal touch to the stay, and was very helpful with our extra needs with our 1 year old daughter.
The staff in the lobby was not memorable at all. When we checked in we did not receive any information on breakfast area or breakfast serving times, check out time or any other relevant information. The door man rather looked at the phone than to open the door for us, even though we had a stroller with us. Many times the doorman was not present. We never felt welcomed in the hotel, as there was generally no attention given to us when we came or left the hotel. This is key for a good 5-star hotel and one of the things we pay extra for.

I loved the hotel, it's location, the restaurant was excellent. But I paid 300 extra euro per night for an upgrade to a premium luxury room with balcony and I cannot imagine a smaller room. I presume in the end it was just a higher floor. I needed room to work in my room and there was just a little round table and relaxing chair. For that price I would have expected a desk and chair and much more space. Paid double the rate of the base room. Very disappointed.

Just spent the weekend with my family, wonderful hotel, cozy, beautiful rooms. Very kind and caring staff with children. Terrace with breathtaking views and a stone's throw from the center. The food is great too.
