Rocco Forte Hotel De La Ville

We were traveling our first time to Rome for 6 nights. The first night we stayed at another hotel. It was not to our liking. I called reservations at De La Ville at 9am at spoke with Sonia. She was fantastic and able to make a booking for 5 nights. At 11am we checked in and were greeted by Angelica and Merle. They treated us like family and shows up to probable the best rooms we have ever stayed. #301 & 302. We loved everything about the hotel including the entire staff. Thanks again to Sonia, Angelica and Merle. You made our visit to Rome unforgettable.

My grandparents had a lovely lunch here. A rarity to be able to enjoy such a calm rooftop in the middle of busy Rome. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Can recommend!

Me and my friend visited the Cielo terrace bar at Hotel de la Ville. The view of the entire city was magical. We ordered 4 different cocktails and each was unique!! The food we tried was amazing, full of italian flavors. The atmosphere was unforgettable and the service excels and everyone was welcoming and gave us great recommendations on what to order. Definitely worth to visit when in Rome!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel de la Ville during our recent trip to Rome. Obviously, Rome has a plethora of 5 star options, and we were extremely pleased with our choice from the moment we arrived. We were traveling to celebrate several special events at once, and we were not only warmly greeted upon arrival by name by Signor Chau, the manager, but the front desk could not have been lovelier, and we were thrilled to be gifted an early check in- one of many thoughtful gestures throughout our stay.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely luxurious bathrooms with top rate amenities. Service was beyond five star across the board- everyone we encountered, from valet to housekeeping to room service, was delightful and friendly.
I want to especially compliment the team at Cielo restaurant- the rooftop bar seems to get all the kudos across social media, so I want to take a moment to point out the amazing service, attention to detail, and cuisine at the actual restaurant. We had an amazing dinner overlooking Rome (the view is even better one level up from the bar)- the Nerano Pasta was one of the best things I have ever eaten and definitely the best version I had in all of Italy, and that includes its birthplace on the Amalfi Coast. We ate there twice during our one week stay and everyone was lovely but especially Alessandro, the sommelier. Not only did he send out some excellent bottles, at a variety of price points, but when he learned that my husband loved Sambuca, he insisted on bringing out several types for him to try; he also did the same for me with Amaro.
We also had a lovely experience with the concierge team, who did not miss on one recommendation, irregardless of if we were looking for a Michelin star dinner or a local trattoria serving Roman classics to locals.
In closing, I cannot recommend this hotel enough and I highly recommend it. Among many 5 star option, the warm service, lack of pretense, and beyond beautiful setting really set it apart.

Spectacular hotel, the staff, the rooms, the service and the atmosphere made our experience the best hotel experience we have ever had! We entered each day feeling like we were coming home to family. We would highly recommend anyone hoping to have a seamless and wholesome experience in Rome ❤️

One of the best hotels I had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable, service is impeccable and the cocktails are delicious. It is also perfectly located and it boasts great views of Rome.

This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in all of our trips to Rome and I think may now be my favorite hotel anywhere in the world! The rooms and hotel are beautiful and tastefully decorated, newly remodeled. The staff is the most welcoming we have met at any hotel, and they all appear genuinely happy and truly care about making your stay the best experience possible. In room dining food is amazing and very efficient. The concierge team arranged transportation for us as well as restaurant reservations, they are extremely responsive and always seem happy to help. We at at Cielo on the rooftop, the views are amazing and the staff again was the friendliest we encountered. We can not say enough about this hotel, we will definitely return whenever we are in Rome and highly recommend you stay here if given the opportunity.
