Hotel Emona Aquaeductus in Rome

From the moment we arrived at this lovely hotel, it was clear that we had made the right choice for our trip to Rome. The entrance through their charming garden was a delightful touch — with cozy chairs, tables, and lush trees surrounding us, it felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The real highlight, however, was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. Max, who greeted us upon arrival, went above and beyond. He offered to walk us through a detailed map of Rome and gave us fantastic insider tips about the best spots to visit, ones we hadn’t even thought about! It was the personal touch that made all the difference. Inside, the reception area was just as inviting. The sitting area was stylish yet comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Our room was not only charming but also perfectly priced for such a fantastic location. It was immaculately clean upon arrival and tidied up each day when we were out exploring, which we truly appreciated. The room had everything we needed and was a great base for our Rome adventures. The location was unbeatable — just a short walk to bus stops and the metro station, which made getting around the city a breeze. Plus, we were within walking distance of the Colosseum and the oldest church in Rome, which were incredible to visit. Although we didn’t try the breakfast (it was available for just over €10), everything else was so wonderful that I’m sure it would have been a great start to the day. I can't recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this beautiful city. If you're looking for a combination of comfort, excellent service, and a fantastic location, look no further.

Small but clean and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Little courtyard very relaxing. A little bit out if our way for us only due to walking issues but will be central for most. It's a hotel that you warm to every day you stay.

We had a wonderful stay! We stayed for six nights and had a fab time, probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly, personable and went out of their way to help and offer suggestions for restaurants and attractions in the local area.

The hotel was clean and tidy with a stunning garden area, and the reception and lounge area were well maintained and welcoming. We enjoyed a few drinks in the lounge area and the garden, both areas had a great vibe.

The only thing that could be improved would be updating the room a tad and perhaps asking the housekeepers/cleaners to hoover in the rooms during turn down.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and would not hesitate to return or recommend anyone to stay here!

I will give only 3 stars because of the shower, very hard to make a shower without washing my hair, the water comes only from up, no shampoo just a body wash, no trash bin in the room just a small one in the bathroom, the switch for charging the phone didn’t work near my bed and should be fixed, just so you know for late checkout for e.g 12:00 instead of 10:30 a.m you should usually pay a 20euro tax or something…
Good things: clean; quiet ; nice view; well placed with train station, center and markets in less than 20 min ( Colosseum and train station in 20min, kinda ok)

Hotel Emona Aquaeductus was a great choice for its price! The rooms were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was good, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the metro and train station. Highly recommend!

We can't recommend this hotel enough. Great location for us from both the station to the attractions you want to visit.
The room was smaller than we liked , but as we were only sleeping in the room was more than enough.
Continental breakfast was fantastic. Fantastic selection on offer, all refreshed and replenished on a regular basis.
Staff.. very friendly very accommodating, love this what I would call a proper Italian experience.
Would highly recommend.
And yes, would stay again

This hotel is in a relatively quiet part of town and is within 5 minutes walk of Manzoni station. Great for the price! Hotel room had clean sheets each day and was cleaned well, shower had hot water and was in good service. Only note for the room is the A/C is not very powerful, but was good enough for my trip in late September. The weather was also wonderful so spent most of my time in the room with the windows open.

Breakfast was great with coffee, a selection of fruit, croissants, toast and meats and cheeses. Plenty to start the day off and get you moving.

WiFi was fast enough for me to stream videos and watch Youtube and didn't ever disconnect on me.

The staff is where this place really shines, as all of them were pleasant and happy to help with any issues I had or with recommendations for places to go. Found a fantastic nearby place for carbonara and gelato thanks to them, would not have found otherwise.

If I ever come back to Rome, I will 100% try to book this place first.
