Less than a 5 min walk to the Saint Peter's square and the Vatican.
Rooms aren't the biggest but are nice and updated. The staff were all round friendly and accommodating.
Right outside the hotel you have a block of restaurants, coffee shops, trinket shops, ice cream shop.

This hotel is in a fantastic location just a few blocks from the Vatican and next to some great restaurants. The room was nice and cleaned well daily, the bathroom and shower were small but fine. Breakfast was good the first few days, but it was the same scrambled eggs, hot dogs, pastries, and yogurt everyday, so if you are having a longer stay it gets monotonous.

Do not fall for their advertised “20% off happy hour.” We went for drinks and were charged full price. We paid cash upfront but later that evening when we took the empty glasses up to the bar, the bartender said we hadn’t paid. Again the next evening, walking back to our room she stopped us and tried to make us pay again for the drinks we had already paid for the night before claiming she didn’t remember us paying.

Overall, a pleasant experience and would stay there again.

The hotels location is fantastic, with less than a 5 minute walk to St.Peter's Basilica along the pedestrianised street that it fronts, which is full of cafés, bars & restaurants that are surprisingly affordable considering their location. The street also has ATM's, convenience shops, a number of souvenir shops & some delicious ice cream parlours too. For those who are feeling less continental there is also a McDonald's just before the Vatican where you can enjoy a beer with your burger. The hotel staff are friendly, professional, extremely helpful & are available 24/7. You can order taxis from the reception which arrive within 5 minutes less than 100 yards from the hotel entrance where a narrow side road cuts across the pedestrianised walkway. These like the food & drink are very affordable in comparison to other major cities & most drivers speak English. The air conditioned hotel rooms are really well presented, very clean & full of little complimentary items such as individually wrapped toothbrushes with paste, hair & beauty accessories, moisturisers, soaps, shampoo & shower body wash. There are slippers & plenty of towels too to enhance your pampering needs. The beds are comfortable & are accompanied with good quality pillows for a restful peaceful night. The continental breakfast is served until 10.30am, so no need to rush & consists of an excellent variety of hot & cold food & drinks which you help yourself to; although staff are on hand to provide any assistance should you require it. There is a small bar in the hotel where you can enjoy a drink with complimentary nibbles in the comfortable soundings of the reception area or just outside at the tables provided by the hotel for its guests; again these are affordable & in line with the prices at the cafés, bars & restaurants across Rome.

Hotel Della Conciliazione boasts an exceptional location, just a few hundred meters from the Vatican, making it an ideal base for exploring the historic heart of Rome. The convenience of being so close to such a significant landmark cannot be overstated, offering easy access to one of the city's most revered sites.From the moment of arrival, the reception staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in experience. Their assistance with a map and detailed explanations of various tourist attractions around the city was invaluable, helping to plan our sightseeing with ease.The room provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring, characterized by its neatness and cleanliness. It offered a peaceful environment to recharge, with all the necessary amenities to make our stay pleasant.Breakfast, while adequate, didn't quite match the standout aspects of the rest of the hotel experience. It was okay, but nothing that set it apart from the typical hotel breakfast offerings. This minor aspect, however, did little to detract from the overall positive experience at Hotel Della Conciliazione.

Amazing location and had a lovely room with a sun trap balcony. If you stay here try the restaurant Borghicina which is on the same street, you will need to get there early to get a table but the food was so good.
The hotel is a short walk to all sites in Vatican City. Trevi, Pantheon etc no more than 30 min walk along the river, which is a nice walk anyway. Excellent service from friendly staff and a nice breakfast.
Only negative was the aircon in our room didn't work, but was told it doesn't give cool air this time of year, so it was a bit hot in the room at night but we just slept with our balcony doors open. Overall an amazing stay here.

Chose this hotel for its proximity to Vatican City. Great rooms, nice breakfast, good staff. I was easily able to walk to St. Peter's whenever I wanted. I attended Mass twice and a public Papal audience. I would have missed out on those experiences had I stayed in the more typical tourist area.
