Raeli Hotel Archimede

Unfortunately, I have to write a very negative review on this hotel. The only plus is its location close to the transport hub of the Termini train station. However, there are many other hotels and inns near Termini, and I believe that their quality will be much better than “hotel” Archimede.
We spent 3 nights in this hotel. I traveled with my little son and I regret our negative experience mainly because of him!
Immediately after check-in, we could feel an intense smell of disinfection in the room, but I thought it was because the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned… I didn't notice anything else.
2 days after returning from Rome, a nasty itchy rash spread over my body, which gradually got worse and my son later got the same.
We had to undergo several examinations in the hospital, antihistamine injections, and we still have to apply corticoids on affected areas.
This is a nasty allergic reaction to the bed bug infestation that we must have had in the room. As soon as I found the reviews of this hotel, it is clear to me that this problem is not the first.
I don't understand how the hotel management can underestimate the problems with hygiene and do nothing about it.
It is completely irresponsible and unprofessional behavior to their guests This hotel does not deserve 4* even in a dream!
Avoid this place and choose another hotel that take care about their guests responsibly

Decent reception and staff. The rooms were old and yellow and did not feel clean, there was mould in the bathroom and the shower head was dirty. Overall lots to be improved on. This is not a 4 star hotel.

How is this a 4 star hotel? Like its max 2 stars because its close to Termini station. The rooms are small, like very small, the bathroom is small as well, also there is a shower that is hanging in front of a bathtub and if you don’t want to make a mess around it you need to sit in the bathtub. The key has 1 kg for sure, you can use it as a hammer in those tiny and broke walls. Even the breakfast is poorly,you only have one type of cheese and one type of ham. I will never come back here for sure.Please avoid this hotel at all costs.

Great location near the Termini station, however the room was bad even for European standards - of note the musty smell and mould in the bathroom... I'm not sure it has ever been cleaned. Bed and linen were also terrible. Not recommended if you are staying for more than one night, or wish to not get a respiratory infection from the hotel's inside air quality.
