Twentyone Hotel

Rome was the first stop of our tour of Italy, and Hotel Twenty One showed us a really nice time. Our flight landed at 10am, and the hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in.

The rooms are your typical European style. Very small and the air conditioning is virtually non-existent. We were fortunate enough to have nice weather while we were in town, so this wasn’t too big of an issue. The “bed” was a VERY firm set of small beds pushed together. The room included a small closet, safe, and mini fridge. The elevator is small even by European standards, so if you have lots of luggage, it may take two trips. The hotel offers laundry service if you desire, but it is rather expensive. If you are in a pinch on a long trip, it is a nice option!

The front desk was quick to have taxis ready once requested. We waited less than 2 minutes every time. The breakfast was our favorite throughout our tour of Italy. Many options to choose from so that you aren’t sick of it after a few days, plus a stunning view of the city since it is on the 6th floor.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is essentially located right in between the Vatican and many of the ruins of Ancient Rome. It is pretty much a 15-20 minute walk to most of the major Roman landmarks. The neighborhood that it is located in also includes multiple restaurants that we adored, and is right across the street from La Romana, which we thought was the best gelato of our trip.

We would definitely return to this hotel the next time we spend time in Rome.

Loved it. Comfortable clean rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing situation close to Vatican ( and Starbucks!). Lovely balcony too. Very good value

Pretty hotel, nice room , good food , good location overall, lady at the check in counter had a bad attitude!! More rude rather than helpful. Not sure her name because she didn’t wear a nametag. (I wonder why).

First time at Hotel Twenty One, and my mum and I both loved it. Lovely hotel, with helpful and kind staff, our room was just the right size and super clean. Breakfast was included, with plenty of sweet and savory options. The hotel is quite central and you can pretty much walk anywhere. There is a courtesy room that guests can use on arrival or prior to departure. Would definitely recommend it! ⭐️
