Good hotel

We stayed in the Dharma Style hotel in January 2025 for three nights on a bed a breakfast basis. The hotel lies in a good position, situated close to the bus and train station, close to local shops, restaurants and bars.
Our room was in a good, clean condition with tv, desk, armchair and walk in shower room. In the first few hours of our stay found some slight issues with the room - the bathroom bin didn't work, there was no make up mirror, no toilet paper and the view from our room looked over the dingy inside courtyard which was not pleasant.
We asked to change room, but there were no other rooms available so the staff did their best to rectify the issues, which they were all successfully done apart from the make up mirror which never arrived.
The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us good advice regarding transport and entertainment. The Cafe Washington restaurant on the corner next to the hotel (I think it's owned by the hotel) was excellent and is well worth a visit.
Breakfast was typical continental style affair, which was adequate but no more than that. I would have liked to have had the option of a full English Breakfast but in fairness this is Rome and not the UK.
Overall, I would give the hotel 3.5/5 stars but there is no option to do that here so I have rated it 3 stars. Considering the cost, I would say the hotel is worth it and would recommend on a 3/4 star hotel basis.

A warm welcome that makes you feel at home, the location is ideal close to the bus station and the historic center on foot. The spa is an incredible experience. The breakfast is varied and the room very good. I slept very well there. The staff is very attentive and will be happy to provide you with information and help you. I recommend.

Nice hotel in the station area. Room was reasonably large, quiet and well priced. Breakfast was continental and ok. Staff were efficient and helpful. Would stay again.

We stayed at the Dharma Style Hotel & Spa. The overall stay could not be faulted. The junior suite was amazing with ample room and great facilities. The steam shower/sauna with the waterfall shower head was the perfect touch. Roberto and Riccardo were very helpful & having whatsapp communication was effective and made the stay seamless. The hotel is located centrally with Termini and Republic stations a few minutes walk. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning with the staff tending to our every need. The Hotel really did complete the trip for us as we needed something luxurious after all the sightseeing for the 4 days we were there!Definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife, daughter and I stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Dharma. It's an offshoot of the Hotel Dharma around the corner. The whole building is a combination of 3 hotels - each floor with it's own hotel. The exterior is lacking, but they make up for it with the service and quality of the rooms.
Check in was smooth without issue. Although they do warn you that there is a hotel tax 7.50euro a day pp. IN CASH, so you need to be ready by checkout. The elevator is tiny, but the rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The front desk is very helpful, Roberto and Ricardo gave us excellent suggestions of where to eat and tour if we wanted to try something off the path.
Their morning breakfast is terrific with something for everyone. They even made a special exception and let me bring some back to the room for our daughter who had jet lag. The location is only a few blocks from the Train Terminal, which was great when we took the train to Florence and then to Venice. Their affiliation to the Hotel Dharma also gets you to the free cocktail hour at the Cotto Restaurant (you can read my review of that separately), which was great and then of course get you to eat there as well.
All in all it was well worth the price and a place we would consider coming back to the next time we stayed in Rome.

I am satisfied with everything else. The waiter looked through the suitcase. I put more than 1,000 euros in the suitcase and it was stolen. I found out when I was leaving. I didn’t have time to pursue it because I had to catch the plane.

Everything was excellent and worth the money. The room was a tad small but this is to be expected of a hotel in the middle of a large city like Rome.

Small but clean room. Fridge included. Staff polite and friendly. We lost hot water one evening and could not be reinstated until next day.
