Hotel Morgana

I recently had the experience of staying at Hotel Morgana, I wish I could say it was pleasant.
The bathroom constantly smelt like sewerage I had to have the door shut at all times so it didn't stink out the whole room, it was very dated, it advertises itself as a 4 star hotel I would say it is 2.5 on a good day.
The area itself while it is close to the train station at times reminded me of what a ghetto is.
Also city tax is also only accepted by cash which is annoying.

The front desk staff were standoffish and were unreliable with city directions and tour information. They just didnt care. Our room was not cleaned, and after requesting it be cleaned 2x, it still wasn't done, but staff insisted it was. Rome has better hotels with better service for your vacation needs. Stay somewhere else!

Hotel is not so great. Stayed (currently staying here) here with my family and it’s awful. The rooms are small, the bathroom is small, food sucks, the rooms are disgusting. I found bugs on my bed before I went to sleep (ants and a different bug that I forgot) People say this hotel is nice but it is FAR from nice. When I stayed here they were doing construction and they started at 4 Am until 10 Am. We called to complain at 8 Am one morning, we said that they have Been drilling from 4 am and the hotel staff was like, no they only started now. Very rude staff. Toiletries were not well. Only provided us a little bit of shampoo. Food in the breakfast area was horrendous. Everything about this hotel just sucks. Don’t book here if you want a bad experience.

Such a disgusting hotel. Please avoid this hotel at any cost.The room service is not so great. Hotel staff is not at all helpful. Rooms are not clean and there is some bad smell all over the hotel, in the room. Also unclean smell from bed, comforter. If you ask something at reception they will make sure you will not get it soon. I asked for iron and iron board and it came 6-7 hrs later. There is a drain clog in the shower area which is really disgusting 🤮.
The towels are so unclean. They don’t clean the room every day. We stayed last week and the rooms were not cleaned everyday. There are pieces of papers and other stuff which was laying in the room for four continuous days. I asked for weight machine at the reception and they said yes we do have and then I was waiting for four to five hours because I have pack my bags. No one came so I called and at the reception they said that we don’t know where we kept the machine. And no one told me until I called and checked. It was five hours almost. I asked for iron board and machine and such a disgusting board it was. I have attached the photos for reference.
Breakfast-
We asked for coffee and it took 44 minutes to bring the coffee. The sweet was around 4-5 days older they served maybe. Because it was so old that I couldn’t eat it.
It is close to station but there are many more other hotels close to the station. Please don’t book this hotel at any cost.
Lift/elevator-
So small lift that only one person can fit into it that to a person needs to be thin. You have two lifts and both the lifts are so tiny that a small kid will also have a problem to use the lift.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST. The only good thing about this hotel is its location to the train station and public transport. We got to the hotel early in the morning and reception was welcoming and help to store our bags while we used the lounge and bathroom facilities to freshen up. Everything started to go downhill from there. After we checked in we were told that the main hotel is completely book and was ushered to an "annex" which is a completely separate run down building down the next block. We had to go through 3 separate doors to get to our room which is nothing like the rooms advertised. The room is outdated and there is physical dirt on the walls and shower box. There is one tiny old rickety elevator that looks unsafe to use so we took the stairs. The water temperature in the tiny shower is difficult to adjust - either scalding hot or cold. There's black mold in the shower head. No hairdryer. When we tried to use the phone to dial to reception to file a complaint we realized the phones don't even work! First thing in the morning we will ask to switch back to the main hotel as this annex is absolutely unsafe, not clean and we cannot stay here for another night.
