Honestly your experience would depend on which capsule you sleep in. I was lucky to sleep at the end of a corridor. But if you sleep near the entrance, shower room or the locker room, you'll always hear people walking around. Generally, I think most people during my stay were civil and stayed quiet at night, but again that depends on luck. The best thing was that the location was extremely convenient...
Great location, lovely staff, free sauna, spacious capsule...and VERY cheap! Definitely my first choice in Japan
The capsule hotel was noisy very noisy on my first night due to it being near the door. Then I asked the reception to move me to a different place on the second night. The receptionist was generally nice except for 1 guy that has a long hair. His tone was really bad compared to the others staff. The location is actually pretty good but the hotel should improve their policy of asking all guests to leave...
The location is excellent! Very closed to main attractions and public transportations. However, you need to check out every day even though you stay there for days. They do offer pyjamas, towels, toothbrushes. Staff is friendly and nice.
Overall is okay. The capsules were not new, a bit dusty in some corner. Have vending machine and hot water but I wish there is some room temperature drinkable water available. Shower room is not enough during peak hours(night). A bit too crowded im my opinion.
💔When you arrive after long flight, specially I arrive morning and check in time is 3pm you like very tired and unfriendly check in process i don’t appreciated. 💔My capsule is 8038 is the worse location right in front of store luggage room every minute people in and out so much noise I hardly sleep until 4am 😭 💔And cockroaches 🪳 in my bed run around make me frustrated! 💚The amenities is complete...

MyCUBE by MYSTAYS Asakusa Kuramae Hostel
Tokyo, Taito-Ku, Kuramae 2-6-7 🧭 Map
Spent only around 60$ for this cube. As you can see, it’s very spacious. I think from bed to ceiling is about 160cm more as I can stand inside it without bending my feet. There is also a locker under my bed, that I feel can fit more than an XL luggage. Bathroom is very spacious, came with complete amenities. No need worry about queuing for bathroom as well. And it’s Japan after all, obviously very...
Location is great, just a minute walk from A3 exit (no lift) kuramae metro station, for those wanna go Narita airport, can walk to A0 entrance (have lift) for kuramae station. The capsule space is big, same as luggage storage is also really big (able to put 2 bug luggage inside) and it is just below the capsule, so convenient! Just the downside is the capsule feel like bit hot
Very good location just right next to the station. Restaurants cafe downstairs. there is only one toilet on my floor, overall it's good and will stay here again :)
Pleasant stay throughout my trip. Good accessibility with lift, no worries if you have big luggage(s). Access key is required for upper floors access so I feel safer to travel alone as well and I like that they have ladies-only floor. There’s a lock for luggage storage area below the bed, I guess it actually fits at least a medium sized luggage bag. Shower rooms and toilets are sufficient (I never...
Not many eating choices around the guest house. Is very clean places. If you have heavy luggage, the only exit is A5, all others no escalator going down. Relatively easy to trsf train to go anywhere.
it’s a very cozy place👍🏻 it‘s the five to six minute to Kuramae station and got a lot of things around the hotel.

Great location. McDonald’s and pharmacy, convenient stores are 2 mins walk away. 5 mins walk from the metro/JR station. Wi-Fi speed is fast and the share space is very friendly design if you have to work. They offer lotions, and cream as well as the tooth brush and so on. Even the hair iron. You literally don’t need to bring anything. I stayed in business cabin for 2 nights. You can leave your stuff...
Arrived early and staff held onto our luggage for us. The staff is also up pretty late, till around 10-11pm. Location is right in the middle of everything so you can get anywhere in about a 30 minute travel time. Beds are firm which I like but others don't. Got the economy class room, it was small but for the price you can't beat it if you're just looking for a place to come back to and sleep after...
Modern looking capsule rooms and clean washrooms. But there are only 2 bathrooms for the entire hotel. The area with beds is not ventilated and is quite suffocating. The lounge area is good but even the basis nuts are chargeable. Quite expensive based on what they offer. Not recommended.
It's in the middle of the places where you might want to go but it is only 1 block from the train station so the location is decent. Capsule quality is pretty high. Generous space in the small lock boxes. Not enough railing to lock your luggage against but seems safe enough. Layout of whole facility is pretty ergonomic, the cafeteria is pretty large with many options that require additional payment...
Good location right across the bridge from the station. Clean, nice onsen, and helpful staff! Might be a bit noisy if you aren't used to capsule hotels and hostels, but it was fine for me!

Best place for Solo travellers, even with friends. I am extremely grateful to have experienced the public bath and artificial hot spring that made me feel in love more into Japan’s culture. There is rice with various condiments and soups, coffee and drinks, massage chair to relax all you can enjoy for free. Will definitely come back again in the future.
Be try convenient and clean capsule. Good for a solo traveler
This area offers convenient access to various amenities. The surrounding neighborhood is known for its peaceful atmosphere. Residents enjoy the ease of transportation options. Local parks and green spaces enhance the quality of life. It's a desirable place to live, work, and play.
All mens hotel. Pretty cool place. Hot springs, sauna, free food. Free alcohol for like 10 hrs a night. Kinda felt like i was a monk or cult member with brown shirt & pants they give you. Great location, right by Shinjuku train station. My favorite part was showering with all the guys & seeing them naked. Just joking. Capsules were a little loud at night but, i slept well. Would stay there again.
Excellent set up for a capsule hotel. Locker to store things, some sweet threads to getaepubdthe hotel, big bath on 2nd floor and free food and drinks on 3rd floor. Great to have a big soaking bath post marathon and super easy to get.to the start line in the morning 😁✊🏼
Very good location right next to Shinjuku station. The capsules are nice and clean and the onsen is absolutely amazing and fully equipped.

it's a good crash-to-place when you miss the train ride for about 3500yen. you pay for what you get; you might feel a little claustrophobic when you enter, but you wont feel that way once you go through the entrance, the tiny tiny lockers and the elevator, and reach the capsule

Great Capsule! They serve rice and curry every night, so you can enjoy a free dinner if you want to save money. There is a refrigerator where you can take a sealed bag to organize your food or drinks before putting them inside. The location is great, and I will definitely consider staying at this capsule again next time. The only downside is that there isn’t much space to store luggage outside the...
Highb quality capsule hotel with clean facilities and free curry for breakfast and free alcohol in the evenings plus has a nice sauna in the basement. Highly recommend.
One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo - the atmosphere and all inclusive service was amazing. in the morning there was curry rice and late at night mixed Rice. The Capsule was comfortable and it was quiet for most of the stay, you can hear other people but they provide ear plugs, there is also a fan in the Capsule. You can also enjoy all you can drink soft drinks and downstairs you can find...
The location is good which is very near to shopping mall and JR Akihabara station. However, there is few lockers for storing big luggage which I needed to put my luggage into the reception.
My stay was an excellent one. The lounge had decent options and allowed for outside food. The pod had decent enough space and was relatively comfortable. They were very accommodating with storage options and lounge time beyond check out time. Only wish my stay was longer.
The check-in experience was very easy. There's a dedicated floor to enjoy free curry rice and drinks or read free manga. The best part about this hotel is the location. You're pretty much already in the main akiba area as you get out. If you don't mind staying in a capsule hotel then it's a great choice.

Both the sauna and the cold bath are old-fashioned and very comfortable in a good way. I personally want a sauna between low and high temperatures. Also, since part of it is completely visible from the elevator, it may be dangerous if a woman pushes a button and comes by mistake. The restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious, so it's worth a try. If you want, I want you to add more menus. The...

It was a very cool and fun experience and the capsules were way more comfortable than I thought.
Cheaper if you book online otherwise they’ll now charge you over ¥4,000 on the door. Not as good as the other Nine hours throughout the city as it’s far more cramped. Capsules aren’t in enclosed rooms but instead have glass walls on every floor meaning you can see every floor from the stairwell. Therefore, there’s more natural light if you’re a light sleeper. Don’t book the lower number capsules i...
Went with my 5yo son for the Tokyo Worlds Judo 2019. Best location we could get for the price and it was a great experience.
25$ per night with service like this... That is more you need. Hot water, comfortable wide bed as capsule, clean pyjamas and rooms. What else do you need. Especially in case that it's almost right in the centre of Tokyo 10 minutes walk to Tokyo Station.
The capsule was very spacious for me! I could sit up and move around with ease. There is no ac and it got quite stuffy while I was in there. The lockers are small so larger backpacks and suit cases won’t fit but they will lock your bag up down stairs. Would give more stars if there was ac. You have to check out by 10 am and can’t check in until 1300. It’s a pain if you are staying multiple days but...

It's ok but your experience depends on others. Being awoken by an early after midnight to realize it's your neighbor behaving like it's 3 pm is no fun.
Fantastic place to stay if you're budget conscious. Great amenities for the price you pay. Clean and we'll maintained place. Close to bars and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here next time. About 10 min walk to the Shimbashi station.
Nice & decent cabin style hotel. The receptionists were really accomodating. Good value for money & the location wise is nearby all the convenient shops (Family Mart / Lawson) and also not that far from the train stations
It's decent for an emergency stop. Beds are so stiff and hard, and because you need to vacate your space for them to clean at 10 am till 3 you are stuck. Overnight stays only. Not for multiple days at a time when traveling. Everyone is friendly and the facilities are clean. Very security focused. Separate accommodations for men and women so not great if you are traveling with others but perfectly fine...

Spacious enough for a capsule hotel. Right beside Akasaka station. Many restaurants nearby.
Convenient capsule hotel. As the bed is not exactly like a capsule, you can have some extent of privacy. There were not many guest staying so I could enjoy shared bath alone.
amazing cabin hostel, nice clean and tidy private cabins. clean bathrooms. 10 min walking distance to the metro station and rapping tower ( Tokyo view ) quite chill area and near to some nice techno clubs .
Cabins for sleeping very quiet. Very accomodating front desk Very clean cabin. Nice bathing area
First cabin, first class in the capsule accommodations. If you want to experience that capsule feel and yet a little bit of claustrophobia, this is the best to try. First cabin even have options for a full room for two people. As the name implies though, the price is high but worth it.
Love this place. It’s so near to the station and all the service is great. It’s also well equipped.

We stayed here for the experience of staying in a capsule hotel. My 15 year old son was keen to stay in one. We enjoyed our stay and even my husband who is 198cm found the size of the capsule pretty good. It was very clean and we al felt very safe.
As a plus size person my concern is always regarding comfort. It was way beyond my expectations. I didnt feel like I was going to suffocate, and even their large Pajamas fit me (uk size 18) Very clean and organised. Friendly and welcoming staff. Will be definitely coming back as well as recommending to friends.

The hotel had plenty of toiletries on hand such as shavers, cream, lotions. The hotel was warm as well!
The sauna is too small and cheap 😅
The facility is old but well maintained. I think cospa is good. The capsule I stayed in was not clean enough, and there were dead insects, used tissue, and long hair between the entrance of the capsule and the mattress. Others were at a level that I was not dissatisfied with, so I was disappointed there.
The building is old, but the cleanliness is guaranteed. The bath is small, but it doesn't get so crowded, so it doesn't seem to be a problem. The sauna is about 98 degrees Celsius and it is quite hot. The disadvantage is that there is no water bath. (The shower on the left is cold after leaving the sauna. The shower on the right is warm.) Capsules are wide and no problem. The toilet is also clean....
I often use it at work. At a reasonable price, the nearest station is easily accessible by JR and some metros. It's free for one night when the stamp card is full.
The bath on the basement floor is a washroom for 5 people + 2 people + a sauna room. The bathtub is small (for a store like this). (Bathtub that 5 people cannot enter at once) It may be hard for sauna lovers to have no water bath ... (18:00 on April 21, 2022) Stay in a capsule on the 2nd floor. The location is located very close walking distance to train subway station. The hotel is a great place to reset and clean up in a little jet bath house. I would stay again.
Food and drinks included is a big plus for a quick stay kind of place like this. Capsule quality didn’t feel exactly like the pictures to me but were decent enough for the time I spent there.
Excellent capsule hotel experience, even for someone like me who never spent a night in one before. I really liked the showers/hot tub as well as the lounge. The modern look overall made me feel at home. And excellent service! We were even provided a tour in Spanish since we stated that it was our first time in this type of hotel.
Except for the artificial onsen, it's very clean. (Artificial onsen has some mold) it also had a wide variety of shampoos, conditioners, hair gel, etc. The staff was friendly and cleaned the rooms around lunchtime. There was free: soft drinks, unlimited rice with 9 different topings, Miso soup, and raw eggs. The room was a bit small, but that may be because of my size. Overall, it was worth it, and...
It’s a nice place to experience. Be advised though, Two things: 1) Capsule can get a little hot at night, you can pick up a fan by the elevator. 2) It only has a Public bath which means that you shower naked with other people. There was one semi private bath space but no one used it. They provide pjs but we decided to wear our own to the capsule and no one minded that.
Even compared to regular full sized hotels this place was really nice, especially for the price. They have instructions in English, the beds are soft and cozy, and there's free drinks (soda, coffee, tea), free miso soup, and free rice with all kinds of fixings if you want breakfast, light dinner, or just a snack. The public bath and hot spring was very nice. And the staff is exceptionally courteous

Right next to it is the subway station. Surprisingly, there is a bathhouse! You can take a bath and even enjoy a sauna, which is very exciting. The service is excellent. For sleeping at night, you need earplugs.
The room is well-cleaned and all the amenities you need are provided. The woman at the counter is also very nice, and breakfast is available from 5am, with curry, rice balls, bread, etc. There are two hair clips, but both were loose and didn't work well. There are also three showers, but the water pressure is very weak. Other than those two points, everything else was okay!
Love this place so much. Every time I come to Iapan, I have to stay here. There is a hot spring. And the city is peaceful and there are many foods. Very impressive.
The staff are all kind and there's no problem if you just want to sleep. You can get free curry and udon for breakfast, and it's clear that they've made every effort to provide the best hospitality possible in a small establishment. The building is small, so they've worked hard to create a bath and rest area within it, so it always feels cramped. Those who are used to larger capsule hotels might find...
The amenities is good 👍 but I guess there’s always the issue for people who book the hotel on trip.com. I thought I booked an individual capsule space however it’s not . The image was completely wrong and misleading. Sec floor space where you can heat up your food and eat there but the smoke smell too heavy that I almost vomit

Great facilities! You can access to minimart shop right away. So much convenient! The only bad things are the locker room. It was very annoying that you have to use the key every time you get in, and the noise from closing the door can wake you up anytime.
