Be aware that there are two towers and that the lobby is on upper floors for both hotels. This might be a surprise for some travelers. The gradens are very nice and the breakfast was well worth it

Stayed in room 3018. Big clean room with awsome view. Service was exceptional. Short walking distance to a few differe t subway stations. Will definitely come back here again if I ever revisit tokyo.

Friendly staff, nice and well kept rooms. The hotel is huge and the garden is very beautiful. Location is not bad either, it's just a short walk to the subway station.

The employees are very helpful. To travel to food and shopping places you will need to catch the subway. They have restaurants and bars but expensive

Bar Capri had a reasonable price for food and if you smoke cigars that's a good place with higher end quality drinks

This was my first time in Tokyo and I must say that this hotel was up to my expectations. It is right next to Shinjuku-Higashi station and just a 15 minute walk away from the main Shinjuku area

Extremely close to the Tokyo subway that connects through to the main hub in Shinjuku. Shinjuku itself is only 10-15mins walking distance

Great hotel, it has a small room but warm and has a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel staff is friendly. Breakfast is excellent and very. It has shown what inside the food. I'd like to stay back at this hotel.

Only downside for me was the supposedly ''great breakfast'' was pretty average and somewhat disappointing. Would stay again but probably won't get breakfast there next time

I visited this hotel in 1980 , and staying for 4 Nights with my Father. Very pleasant hotel, nice staff. It is an old Hotel now but still worth for staying. Its name was : Akasaka Tokyu Hotel at that time

I visited the restaurant here in March 2018 , it is 40 years later, still nice , only the name is now : Akasaka Excell Hotel Tokyu. The restaurant was very nice. Still a very nice Hotel today

The rooms were great and the staff were very helpful. It was pretty central to everything we wanted to see. It was easy to get to the metro as well.

Our room was great! We had 3 beds for 3 adults. The staff is very curtious and the food at the Cattleya Restaurant & Cafe is great in taste and presentation! ?

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The room in the 21st is the premium rooms. It smells and feels like a 4 to 5 star hotel. Toilets still feels slightly dated. The rooms have no air conditioning but heaters

Although renovation is a little out date but this is a proper large scale hotel. Rooms are quite reasonably size, breakfast is good. U can choose buffet if u wake up early enough or American breakfast if u wake up late

All the usual amenities were provided - toothbrushes, razors, brush, etc. Our room did not offer a view of the city. If you would like a view, it doesn't hurt to ask when you check in

This was one of the smaller of hotels I've stayed in this area. However, it was big enough for two average size adults. The bathroom was also small, but enough room for one person

Also, there is a sauna on the bottom floor of the hotel that is available to guests. I, however, did not have time to use it

There are baths on the ground floor but also one in your room if you're feeling less social. Couldn't fault the location as it is next door to multiple eateries, parks and Shinjuku station

The rooms are on the small side, but they are beautifully designed. The bathroom with the nice and deep bathtub is amazing. The bathhouse is also very nice (bring towel and pajamas from your room)

Nice and new hotel. We booked early and got really good price. The train and metro stations are close by too. This area is quiet at night which is sometime hard to find in Tokyo.

Beautiful property that is central to train stations and other destinations. Great breakfast at the restaurant and awesome place to grab a drink in the afternoon or evening at their bar.

I really loved the day couch in the rooms that overlooked the city. I could have laid there all day! My only complaint is that nail file/emery board was actually a cushion and not strong enough to file your nails

The woman who was working at the gym is the absolute cutest. But make sure you don’t wear your shoes near the pool only slippers! It would be a nice addition if they had razors available in the locker room though

Good choice for Japanese breakfast and more limited choice for continental, it cost 1200 Yen or 1080 if you buy it in advance the day before, well worth it! If is served 7:30-9:30

You can get almost anywhere very quickly between metro and JR lines commuting very little

The only thing that bothered me was that I had a room on the non-smoking floor, but the room and sheets reeked of cigarettes which seemed to be coming out of the air conditioning

Though small, it has own toilet and bath. Booked online and check in/out was fast. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores in the neighborhood. Near Akebonobashi station which is 2 stations away from Shinjuku

Mattress is firm but very comfortable and linens are spotless and soft. Staff is very pleasant to interact with and happy to provide recommendations for day trips and make reservations for you

Just take note of the subway exit with elevator if you're carrying luggages. There's also a bus stop nearby. Search Google for bus stops if you want to explore Shinjuku

Less than 500m to the Shinjuku night life area with great night spot like Robot Restaurant & the Golden Gai with its skinny bars! The staff are very friendly and helpful & their English is very good

Very convenient location, right above the train station. However, note that the nearest train station exit (right beside the hotel) does not have a lift and may post a problem for travelers with a lot of luggage

Great hotel in a great location! It is right next to the subway station so getting around Tokyo is easy. There are a multitude of places to eat nearby with so many different cuisines available

Our room was smaller than western hotels but not as small as other people made it out to be. It was great for us but if you are tall you might struggle with the size of the bathroom with that being so small

The only thing to take into consideration is that the building is not secure, and you can gain access to all floors without a keycard. Wouldn't stay there alone, but with others it was quite enjoyable

There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in the area so it's not a problem for dinner, but if the hotel had a restaurant I thought I would use it without hesitation and had breakfast the next morning

The hotel is wonderful, the building is positioned just on the edge of the imperial property and offers incredible views of the space and the city beyond

The location is good, access from every metro station in front of the building, the staff is well trained, cleaning and corona measures such as the breakfast area are well equipped and the interior is also classic and unified

In the back streets to the south east of the hotel there are some fantastic little ramen places and of course there are convenience stores a-plenty along the 246 at the front of the hotel

Great views of the park, nice location and the hotel is nicely styled. The carpet had its days so hopefully they clean them better or replace them soon

Please do not call a bread basket as "breakfast". APA hotels are much better. The rest is good and they have English speaking staff!

Very central location in Shinjuku, few minutes from Shinjuku JR line station and bang on top (almost literally) of the Tojei line station. Only criticism is that room cleaning is very infrequent
