Picnic Hotel - Rang Nam in Bangkok

Very clean and the staff is fabulous. I was able to work around no hot water in bathroom sink. Not sure if this is common in Thailand or not.

This is my 2nd time staying at Picnic Hotel.
It is a good hotel that has just enough of everything to make your stay a pleasant one. Being a budget hotel with no real amenities besides a restaurant, it does well for the price.
The location is good. Not too far from the BTS station, but not what I would say close. The best feature for the location has to be the park next door which is quite lovely!

Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel was clean and well-maintained, which is always a positive first impression. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. 
The breakfast offered at the hotel is a buffet-style, which provides a variety of options to suit different tastes. While the selection was satisfactory, I found the overall flavor profile to be somewhat average. It was decent enough to start the day, but it didn’t particularly stand out compared to other hotels I’ve experienced.
Regarding the rooms, they were fairly standard, spacious enough for a comfortable stay, but I would describe the beds as less comfortable than expected. They did not provide the level of support I hoped for, which could impact the quality of sleep for some guests.

It's a good base for exploring the surrounding area, but those looking for exceptional breakfast or top-tier comfort may want to consider other options. The thing about the space is ok for a couple. Cleanliness is ok because we experienced baby cockroaches in the toilet and upon check in. Sometimes the housekeeping did not clear some rubbish on the toilet floor. Wall outlet for electricity is minimal. Location is good, close to Powerking mall and also Century mall.

Pros:
24 hr concierge. Location. AC is cold. Good for WFH. Fast wifi.

Cons:
Loud road noise. Luggage guard is kinda strict (no sleeping in lobby area lol). Bfast is meh.

Nice location and convenient, with nice services and polite staff

This was my second time in this hotel. Rooms are large and modern. Staff is nice and the location is great. Walking distance to BTS station. Good connection with BKK airport via airport link and also to Don Muang airport via bus. Shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend it.
