This is the second time we stayed at Riva Arun. We love the area and the hotel is ideally placed for exploring some of the most famous sites in Kroong Thaehp (Bangkok). The staff are fabulous and go the extra mile. After booking, we had the opportunity to do an upgrade to Grand Deluxe Jacuzzi room overlooking the river and looking straight across to Wat Arun. It was fabulous and well worth the extra for the upgrade. We dined at the rooftop restaurant where the food was sensational and the views sublime. Looking across the river to Wat Arun, watching the watercraft of every shape and size and then look back at Wat Po temple or across to the Royal Palace. Can't wait to go back again!

This is an amazing location on the river. Spend the extra $$ for a room overlooking Wat Arun! Walking distance to all the main Bangkok temples. Nice rooftop restaurant (we only had breakfast) . Friendly staff! It was perfect for us first time visitors

Great customer service. Very friendly, polite and will go out of their way to help.
Very good location that is near to attractions, restaurants, breakfast market and street foods. Maximum of 20 minutes of leisurely walk to Grand Palace and market. Near temples and museums.
Breakfast was above average but again courteous staff.
Highly recommended!

We stayed in the premium room with jacuzzi which was a good size room with separate bed and living rooms. It has a jacuzzi in the back patio with an amazing view of the Wat Arun. The room were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in an ideal location within walking distance to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the boat pier which you can take the taxi boat across to Wat Arun for 16 baht. Most importantly, the staff here were so wonderful, polite, friendly, and welcoming. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the Phra Nakhon area.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

However, I would expect more for this price.
Not great for light sleepers, the doors to the rooms are not great.
Its seen better days and could use a brush up here and there. Some rooms are facing restaurant‘s terrace and they can see into your room if you are on the first floor.
The breakfast and drinks are too expensive and not worth it, but the view from the terrace is amazing in the evening.

This hotel was fantastic! We had a suite with a Jacuzzi on the patio and it overlooked the river with a clear view of Wat Arun. The service was incredible and friendly. It was certainly on the pricey side for Bangkok, but was worth every penny. Be sure to check it out. They only have 25 rooms, so book early to get the best ones.

Excellent hotel with nice room view facing Wat Arun, excellent reception staffs, they are prompt and helpful. Roof Top restaurant foods are excellent too with magnificent sunset view.
Will definitely come back here again.

This hotel is in the perfect location--a 5 minute walk from an MRT station, right next to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and next to the river with a beautiful view of Wat Arun. The staff are great and you are welcomed with tea and cookies during check-in. We stayed in the most basic room, which was small but had everything we needed--great A/C, a really comfortable bed, and a nice shower. It's on the pricier side for Bangkok, but actually very reasonable for the area, and completely worth it!

Room service is for improvement.
Only bed was done. Floor dirty, towels not change (small after couple showers).
Room with River view highly recommend.

AC working well (so important in Bangkok) 😂
Wifi need to be login anytime you back to room - very annoying. Another improvement items. Today wifi is more important than TV which we never used.

Location was perfect; bonus points for the spectacular view! Staff were amazing and so friendly (especially for a solo female traveller!) Stunning food options and transport was easily arranged. I will definitely recommend and be back in the future!
