We staid for a few days Riva Surya in November and had a great experience. Staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. We had a view of the river from our room and found the location of the hotel to be convenient to many restaurants, coffee shops, vendors and street food on Soi Rambuttri. It was walking distance to several sites.

A very nice boutique hotel on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. We had a room with a balcony and a river view. The room is spacious enough and clean. Comfortable beds with a choice of 3 types of pillows. The staff is smiling and very helpful. Good selection of food for breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at Riva Surya (river view room with balcony). Family holiday, 2 adults 1 child (12 years old). We booked a trundle for our son too. The staff are phenomenal. We booked through Booking.com and their communication via the booking.com app was great. Easily booked the trundle and airport transfer (1500TBH for 3 of us, a van is 2000) which was so great for us as we arrived in BKK late night for us due to time difference. The info on where to meet the transfer people was clear and the car was waiting and ready for us to jump in (in the car within 30 seconds). The room was lovely and check in was quick. Staff took us up to our room, showed us the amenities and then we had a late dinner at the restaurant onsite. The pool is lovely too with ample room. I highly recommend this hotel, great value for money, I would definitely stay here again.

Wow, what a wonderful team they have! Everyone was so attentive, respectful, and genuinely there to help with anything you need — not just front desk staff, but truly caring people ready to assist you in any way.
I really appreciate all the work they do and can’t wait to come back to such a positive and welcoming place!
The rooms were spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and they even provided water every day, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Location was wonderful for our activities!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We got a standard king bed room and it was lovely. The bed was so comfortable and we liked the balcony. The pool is really nice as well and staff were very helpful. We loved the location because its in a quieter area of bkk but still easy to get around. My only complaint is that since our room was facing the street, we could hear the bar across the street at night so if I come back I'll book a room facing the river. Highly recommend!

Service fantastic. Housekeeping a bit niggardly with one set of toiletries throughout my stay, considering the prices charged. Was given a great rover facing room although Wat Arun is not in sight (as the photos may otherwise suggest). Quieter part of BKK so don’t expect the noise and bustle of Sukhumvit

Excellent little hotel , perfectly positioned on the riverside. Short walk (yards) to the riverboat dock and hence to the main attractions like the royal palace and Chinatown.Good bar and restaurant with lovely staff. No hesitation in recommending this for a stay in Bangkok.

This was our second time staying at the Riva Surya, and we were still impressed with the service and attention from the staff.
From check in to check out the staff were fantastic especially traveling with my elderly parents they could do enough to help.
The Hotel location is great and is very close to many restaurants and bars, and just a short walk to Khao San Road and many market type stalls and shops.
We had breakfast each morning at the hotel restaurant which provided many different options including Gluten Free bread.
Rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and we had a great view from our balcony overlooking the Chao Praya River. During our stay the Pool was under maintenance, but the Hotel was kind enough to compensate us with a 10% discount voucher along with ฿1,000 off any food purchases per day from the Restaurant.
Will definitely be back for our 3rd stay at the Riva Surya and the staff need to be commended on their quality and detail to service.
