Wintree City Resort Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai

Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. The standout for me was the food, especially buffet breakfast. There was a lot of variety with changing dishes each day, and everything was hot and fresh. They had delicious cakes available at the restaurant or take away to have in your room as well. The room service food was also delicious. The location is on the highway and there are a few cafes/bakeries/gym and barber walkable around the resort. Although it’s best if you have a car to get around or use grab services. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend anyone visiting Chiang Mai to stay at the Wintree city resort.

Wonderful

Spacious, sparkling rooms, three outdoor pools—including one for kids—and a fantastic breakfast buffet. The staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel feels fresh and contemporary. Great location near Nimman Road and MAYA, with a free shuttle to help with getting around. A solid pick for comfort and convenience in Chiang Mai.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Wintree Hotel! The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed mattress was incredible—it truly felt like sleeping on a cloud.

The breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of options that changed daily, keeping it fresh and interesting throughout our stay.

Many thanks to all the Wintree staff for their kindness and professionalism. If I ever visit Chiang Mai again, I will definitely stay here.

We had a good stay at Wintree Resort! The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. The food was delicious, we had dinner there and really enjoyed it. Both the hotel rates and food prices are very reasonable. The location is excellent as well; it’s close to malls, the airport, and local markets, which made getting around very convenient. Another plus is that if you want to do your own laundry, there are places just a few minutes’ walk away.

The only downside was that the room had an AC generator nearby, which was a bit loud at times. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

From the moment we arrived at Wintree City Resort, everything felt like a calm retreat in the heart of the city. The modern architecture, thoughtfully designed poolside layout, and vibrant greenery created the perfect balance between luxury and comfort.

☀️ Breakfast by the pool: Starting the day with a creamy iced coffee, a flaky croissant, and blue skies overhead was simply idyllic. The café, Wintree Coffee Bar, offers delicious drinks and light bites, making it a great spot to relax in the morning or afternoon.

🍲 Dining experience: Whether it’s Thai-style barbecue by the pool or international comfort food like club sandwiches and spaghetti carbonara, every meal we had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sauces and ingredients used for the hotpot were top quality, and the vegetables were vibrant and crisp.

🏊 Poolside relaxation: The pool stretches along the building and is accessible right from some of the rooms — a fantastic feature. There are plenty of seating areas, both in the shade and under the sun, making it easy to lounge with a drink or a book.

💡 Ambience & service: The interior of the lobby is modern and elegant, filled with plush cushions and warm lighting. Staff were friendly, polite, and attentive — always ready with a smile. The whole space felt cozy but refined, never overcrowded or noisy.

💸 Value for money: The prices at the restaurant were very reasonable, especially considering the setting and quality. Our bill for dinner (which included multiple dishes and drinks) came to just over 800 THB, including tax and service.
