Grand Liza Hotel

Hello at first it was not a very good hotel and room but beacuse of the money its was good
Its an 3 stars hotel
. For breakfast it was poorr .
. Service aw good at first
. Clean hotel but the shower was broken they didnt mind
. At the last day we kept our bags in the lobby when we came at night the employe there was shouting at us and he said take your bags and go out , thats only because we kept our bags in the lobby he was acting like a man that is drunk .
It wasnt nice at all and we are coming back to turkey but we will not take this hotel at all
He just kicked us out and he didnt let us to stay in the loby for only an hour
Sorry about this it was a very bad exspression for us
I can hay for many people not to go to this hotel unless they change the employee that is at the pm shift
We go to turkey every 2 month and every hotel be good with us only this man was very rude and start shouting and kicked is out .

Terrible Experience – Bed Bugs and No Compensation

I stayed at this hotel, and it was the worst experience ever. My room had bed bugs, and I got a very bad rash all over my body. It was so bad that I had to go back home early and go to the hospital. The doctor gave me Cortisone because the rash was so severe.

The hotel did not help me at all. They didn’t give me any compensation and just told me to talk to the company I booked through. This is not okay.

I am asking the hotel to compensate me for what happened. That is the least they can do after everything I went through. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

- Meal is poor. Small choice, generally the cheapest cheese, bread, olives and something else The room was awful!! Almost everything is broken. Dirty shower, dirty room. Noise from the elevator. Very dirty and loud. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed.

Unbelievably bad for its price! We definitely weren't expecting anything fancy from a 3 star hotel, but Grand Liza managed to disappoint even travellers with zero expectations. Stained bedsheets, broken fridge, staff without basic knowledge of English, but what bugs me the most are the breakfasts. I've been to quite a few 3 stars hotels before and know the approximate standard of the service. In thus hotel you don't even get to choose the food, every guest gets a plate with the same items: 3 circle slices of cucumber, 2 slices of tomato, some olives, one piece of goat cheese, 2 slices of some weird ham and an egg. If you happen to be a vegetarian, well, too bad. I normally don't eat much, but this breakfast would leave me hungry for the whole day. And every morning it's exactly the same. Otherwise, the location of the hotel is really nice, hence 2 stars and not 1. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who doesn't want to die of starvation!

Me and my friend were staying in this hotel for 4 nights. Definetly not the best experience in Istanbul. The first disappointment was the area and the district were the hotel is located. It's quite dirty, has tons of shops and ugly tasteless shop signs. Despite decent view from the dining room, breakfast was a joke: an egg, two pieces of ham, cucumber, tomato and a bite of goat cheese. The mini fridge in our room didn't work and no one bothered to replace it even though we asked twice. Dirty sheets have yellow stains. One single good thing was the fact that this hotel is indeed 10 min walk from the Grand Bazar. Think twice before choosing this place to stay. If I'm coming back to Istanbul, I'm definitely staying in another area
