The hotel rooms couldn't be worse. Many hostels in Spain are much better. Poorly maintained, old, outdated, and dirty. The breakfast leaves much to be desired; the bread toaster is broken. Most people at reception don't speak English either.

A horrible hotel with worn-out toilets, ,,,,.., ´´´ the cleanliness is poor, the breakfast is not very varied……… The staff is not welcoming…. I was impatiently waiting to leave this hotel……..´´´´I do not recommend it to anyone……..

the location is the best thing about the hotel, you just have to follow the tramway and you can easily arrive at the center. the rooms are small even though I don't mind that, the towels were hidden in the mini cupboard and I had to shower with just a small sized one, they also don't really change them. make sure to bring your own gel & shampoo because you have to shower with a hand soap labeled as body & hair shampoo, it leaves your hair terrible. the hair dryer is also very useless. the breakfast buffet isn't bad, I've seen better but it has nice things and you can have a pretty balanced meal. the shower gets flooded because the drain doesn't work very well but I didn't mind that as the hot water runs okay.

Dear ERID ATALYA I am writing to clarify the situation of our customers and what has happened in your hotel. First of all I would like to inform you that I have been sending clients to stay with you since 2013, so I know your hotel well and often recommend it to my dear clients. This time too, as usual, we sent you our two customers, whose vouchers are attached. And this is what happened: -1-on arrival of my two clients on Thursday evening, they were refused at reception on the pretext that their reservation did not exist and that the hotel was fully booked even though they had a voucher in hand. -2- Knowing that it was night time, my clients contacted me to make a claim and make our credibility an issue for them we had ripped them off. Imagine, sir, customers arriving and being told that you have no reservation. -3 me personally mme kahina I called the reception to understand the situation because it happens that errors happen maybe the receptionist did not see well on the system. To my surprise I got the receptionist on the phone and he informed me that no reservation existed in that name, and that either they paid for their night or I wouldn't put them up and he was even very mean to me. -4-This is why I contacted our supplier MY GO to resolve the situation because since 2013 I have been taking vouchers with them for your hotel without any problems. My customers were finally accepted, but only because they were not staying in the grand ons hotel, but because the hotel staff had promised them a room the next day and it was just a misunderstanding. I was relieved for my customers. -5-The next day my customers called me a second time to tell me that the hotel didn't want to receive them and give them a room at the grand ons. The customer was out of his mind because of the mediocre service and left the hotel. To say that the customer just like that left the hotel no I'm really sorry he was kicked out on his arrival without the intervention of our supplier MY GO your receptionist do not want to receive them and telling me that there is no reservation and they had to pay, after the gentleman they delogent and does not keep his word the day after to give them the room. All this is a displeasure to us and you have put the reputation of our service at zero with our customers who have asked for a refund because they have been badly served. To this effect we ask you to be profetional and at least refund the night that our customers did not spend. Counting on your profetionalism and your comprehension, thank you to make a commercial gesture for possible future reservations. My best regards

I stayed for 7 days in this Hotel in August 2022 during an organized trip where I cannot leave because it is a group reservation This Hotel is dirty, it is located in a shopping street where the delivery of goods begins early in the morning, it is poorly equipped, the rooms are dilapidated, the air conditioning is broken and not repaired in all the rooms to reduce electricity consumption, the breakfast is disgusting, catastrophic, the receptionist Jawhare is rude ...To absolutely avoid, especially since Istanbul is a very pretty city, not too expensive where you can find better hotels with a reasonable quality/price ratio.

The room is small, unfunctional. The air-condition doesn't work. The guy from the reception desk said thay would come to see, but they never had. The curtains were dusty and filthy. The towels were old, not white at all but blue and thin. The bathroom was small without needful basic things, the shower cabine was tight and dirty. There were two electrical racks in all room, so I have been charging my phone in the bathroom... The neighbourhood is loud. Disastrous, by word!

Location of the hotel is the biggest advantage with everything at an almost walkable distance. It's a nice and clean hotel but the surrounding is so noisy. We came with a group and were among the first to get the keys to the room where everything worked well. The bed is a bit soft for our taste, the air conditioner is old but it worked well, in the shower you can't really straighten up or lift the shower without hitting the bathroom ceiling. We didn't have hot water on the first day, but in the morning the problem was solved immediately. Locking the room is very unusual from inside and then go out and close the door. We usually carry an extension cord on trips to plug in all the devices to charge them at the end of the day, so that's a good tip because there aren't enough sockets. Although the hotel was almost full, the two elevators work great. We were located on the 6th floor, and the restaurant where breakfast is served is on the 8th floor, at the roof so the view at Marmara Sea is great. Breakfast was OK, nothing more than average. In total good value for the money we paid. :)

+ - Perfect cleaning service (change of trash can and bed sheets evey day) - Free breakfast in the restaraunt on the top of the hotel with good food and gorgeous view - Lots of places to eat, around the hotel
- - It could be very noisy at evenings, because walls between flats are thin as a paper sheet - To some it is more + then -, but for me, the center of Fatih area is too much. So crowded everywhere, thousands of tourists, noise and trading. If you are an introvert and would like to chill, then go for places in the Asian side, like Maltepe
