Hotel Ibrahim Pasha

What a wonderful place! Ideally located, just a few steps from the Blue Mosque and the other attractions of Budapest. After a hard day visiting the sights, it was lovely to relax on the roof terrace looking past the Mosque to the Bosporus and the Sea of Marmara.
The room was spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The breakfast offering was quite small but perfect, with enough choice for all.
The staff were all very friendly and eager to help, especially the concierges, who were a mine of information about the city and its attractions and ready to book a taxi or a restaurant table.
Highly recommended.

It’s 2 min from blue masque, everything is so close we did not take any taxi. Everywhere we walked.

Loved this hotel. It is a small, boutique hotel with staff who really take care to ensure guests are looked after, and are always on hand with information, advice on tourism as well as as practical advice about local transport etc.
The small rooms have everything you need, and the breakfast, wifi, and small touches make it a very easy place to stay. The roof top terrace has extraordinary views.
You can't beat the location, within easy walking distance of all the main sites, and the tram that you can use to access the rest of Istanbul.

This was such a great hotel to stay at. Very central to the area. But also, all of the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful.

This is a little gem of a hotel located a stone's throw away from the Blue Mosque in the historic centre of Istanbul. The staff were truly wonderful; really thoughtful, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a lovely, wide selection ranging from fruit and nuts, delicious thick yoghurt, pastries, meats, cheeses, olives, toast, eggs etc. For me, the highlight of the hotel was the roof terrace which has the most amazing view of the mosque - make sure you take a look at night too. The location is great, with lots of sites within easy walking distance (the bazaars, mosques, Topkapi palace, cisterns), and plenty of good restaurants nearby too. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a great shower and plenty of hot water. In my personal opinion, the decor is a little dated. I would certainly recommend the Hotel Ibrahim Pasha, and would stay there again.

We had an excellent stay during our time in Istanbul! Perfect location as first time visitors right down the street from the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque (great views of them from the rooftop terrace as well!). Wonderful breakfast each morning. Great customer service - welcome beverage upon checking in and the concierge went through a city map with us as well, and it was very easy to book airport shuttle through the front desk. Loved the fire place and library on the first floor as well!

Do note that the rooms are very warm during the winter off season (noticed this in general in Turkey indoors) - you can open the window though and it cooled the room down for sleeping sufficiently. Also note, if this is your first time traveling to a Muslim country, since it is very close to the Blue Mosque, you will hear the calls to prayer 5 times a day starting at sunrise so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs if you do not wish to be woken up.

Lovely hotel with well-decorated rooms, generous breakfast, considerate and knowledgeable staff. And, as everyone notes, excellent location near Blue Mosque/Hippodrome. What made it even more a standout were the fine terrace for tea and a great view, and the truly excellent library/sitting room off the lobby. Great credit goes to whoever chose and assembled these books and made so comfortable and pleasant a space to enjoy them.

The hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and next to the Arcadia Blue. There is a platform on the top floor of the hotel where you can see the Blue Mosque and the seaside. You can enjoy the view from it in spring, summer and autumn. The hotel is very warmly decorated.
