Ibis Izmir Alsancak

We had a very nice stay in Ibis, the staff was very helpful and very caring for their clients. Sad to say I didn't get the names of the people in the reception who helped us checked in. I would like to thank them personally . The check in was smooth and no hassle at all. Walking distance from great food stalls. Can't wait to go back someday.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was spotless every day, and I really appreciated the cleaning staff's hard work and friendly smiles. The staff overall was super helpful, and the hotel is in a great location, close to the train stations. Initially, I booked directly with the hotel, but later found a better rate on all.com, so I rebooked through the site. Overall, I was really satisfied with my experience.

Everything perfect! Location is excellent just few steps from the seaside.
The room is perfectly clean and the service is super! Ibis is always a sure choice for accommodation comfort!

The hotel is located very close to the Alsancak train and tram stations and not too far from the Alsancak ferry dock which makes most of Izmir, the airport and Selcuk/Efesus and Bergama easily accessible by public transportation.
The rooms are clean with modern furniture (classic Ibis rooms). The bedding Is comfortable and the room has a minibar and a safe (an increasingly uncommon feature in 3* hotels), the bathroom is also fine, albeit with visible signs of wear and tear in the shower. There is a functioning Air Conditioning (an essential feature if you plan to visit Izmir in the summer) but the system seems either old or underpowered therefore it takes quite a long time to bring the room to a tolerable temperature.
The breakfast is good, with both savoury and sweet options.
All things considered, a solid option with a good value for the money.

Gulcan was very nice and the room was extremely clean! Also, we emailed in advance and they gave us a room with an air conditioner, so there were no problems with cooling on a 40c day.

Very friendly and helpful staff & great location. Room was just a little too basic than we were expecting but no issues check in check out all very efficient and all the team reception housekeeping restaurant was friendly. Good location to walk around Alsancak and also to reach from the airport by izban public transport.
