The staff are so nice and the location is great
A special thanks to Regimon (sorry if I mispronounced your name) and his colleagues for always keeping out rooms clean.
Also an amazing breakfast, something new was added every day of our stay.
And of course the access to the Dubai mall is such a blessing.
Highly recommend staying here!
During check-in, the receptionist was neither professional nor kind. Instead of welcoming me warmly as a local guest, the interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful. This lack of courtesy was surprising and disappointing, given the hotel's reputation.
What made the situation worse was receiving an aggressive phone call from the same receptionist the following day. Her tone was hostile and unprofessional, leaving me feeling threatened and deeply uncomfortable. This type of behavior is entirely unacceptable, especially at a luxury hotel where guest comfort and respect should always come first.
As someone from the UAE, I take pride in our nation's hospitality standards, and I expected the same level of respect and service from an internationally renowned hotel like Kempinski. Unfortunately, this experience did not align with those expectations. I urge the hotel's management to address this issue and ensure proper training for their staff to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
On the positive side, the valet staff were helpful, although they could be quicker at times. The rooms were excellent—spacious, clean, and with a nice balcony to relax on.
The highlight was when the manager, Hajar, personally addressed my check-in concerns. She went out of her way to make things right, which I really appreciated. Overall, a great stay with room for some improvements.
