Habtoor Palace Dubai, LXR Hotels & Resorts

We stayed for 2 nights using the Amex Fine Hotel and Resorts on 2 separate reservations. This is supposed to come with $100 food voucher per reservation, however they did not honor that, and only allowed for one to be used.

Valet- we used valet a few times during our stay. Our first time using it, we used the app to request (and tip) for the car at least 5 minutes before we got downstairs. Once we got downstairs, it was not available and we had to wait an additional 5+ minutes to get the car.

Service- there were quite a few times we were not greeted/ignored. We asked for some items to the room that were never delivered on two separate occasions. At breakfast, the staff would initially greet us but then it took a long time for them to come over for drinks and ordering, this happened both days.
Room- the room was nice overall and large. The shower was great, it got very hot. Unfortunately the AC was not adequate for what is considered a luxury hotel. We had it at the lowest setting due to how hot out it was, and it never got close to it. On average, it stayed between 74-75 F/23-24 C.

Food- the morning breakfast buffet had a decent amount of options, the food was good. The room service food was very expensive and was NOT worth it at all, the pizza was not good, the kale salad was ok, the brownie was ok, etc. We had gotten 2 entrees, an app and a desert and it was well over $100USD.
