OYO 367 Eureka Hotel

Definitely do not go please please please do not visit this hotel. I’ve visited Dubai many times and I’ve never received disrespect and poor customer service like this in my life.
After waiting for 3 hours In time for check in. The rude and uncivilised woman who was working at the till was trying to charge me over £100 more cause they take the “exchange rate lower” however on booking.com the price was fixed and this was not mentioned at all do not listen to any positive reviews and also I will be reporting them to booking.com for trying to scam customers. Shame

Awful. The nightclub went from midnight to 4am and shook the walls. The garbage disposal started at 6am. Edward, the midnight reception failed to apologis3 and explained that it was me who chose a city hotel on the weekend.

Room and lobby stink. There is mould on the shower curtain.

Upon checking in, the patronizing desk person (not Edward) charged me 25% extra stating that I had failed to correctly read the fees.

I booked 3 months prior to my trip. The payment went through but these incompetent people at the hotel emailed the cancelation of the booking 2 weeks before my trip and demanded extra money in the amount of $400 for taxes when full amount was already paid. Terrible customer service and extremely unprofessional. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL EVER ITS A WASTE OF MONEY AND WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP!!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤡🤡🤡🤡

I have been all around the world with my family but this the first time a hotel has email me a cancelation just 2 weeks prior to my trip asking for extra money when the full amount was paid at the time of the booking. TO EVERYONE READING THIS REVIEW DO NOT GIVE YOURSELF A DIFFICULT TIME AND BOOK THIS HOTEL THAT TOO IN ADVANCE

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DIFFICULT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I booked with this hotel 2 months ago and they waited 2 months to cancel my booking just 2 weeks prior to my trip asking for additional money under the name of tax that was already paid in full amount with the total.

Rooms needs lots of maintenance rusty curtain rods , broken furniture, roof has dark spots, bathroom has a lots of stains, drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom floor while 🚽 washer , Temperature control switch is very old and doesn't function properly.
Very close to airport and nearby metro. Nice staff.

Room too small, flusher is not working(toilet) and the room smells gross.
Toiletries were provided which is awesome just really wait that the flusher didnt work at all.

Disappointed with Receptionist's Rude Treatment and Lack of Explanation on Visitor Policy

Recently stayed at the Eureka Oyo hotel Dubai, my experience was marred by the rude treatment I received from one of the receptionists name was Mr, Salman, Upon my girlfriend's friends' arrival for a massage in my occupied room, they were approached by Mr, Salman who abruptly demanded payment, and mentioning they need to pay 100 Aed,before they go to our accupied room and the reason Mr, Salman saying it's because our visitor is not included on our online booking. The manner in which he addressed my girlfriend was disrespectful, because she was receiving this kind of treatment in the front of other guests,causing her to call me and ask to speak with to Mr Salman. During our conversation via phone Mr, Salman threatened us that he will send security to our room and take my visitor outside the hotel like we did something wrong, It turned out that there was a 100 AED charge for visitors, which I had not been aware of. While I understand the need for this charge,I was disappointed by the lack of proper explanation from receptionist (Mr, Salman.)

As a customer, I believe that the first point of contact with hotel staff, especially the receptionist, should be welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately, the receptionist's behavior was far from this standard. Not only was he unable to provide a clear explanation of the visitor policy, but his approach was also quite aggressive and disrespectful to my girlfriend.

Furthermore, despite my initial frustration, I appreciated that the manager, Mr. Ashraf, was able to address my concerns, even though he was scheduled to be off duty. He took the time to explain the rationale behind the 100 AED charge and demonstrated a more professional and customer-oriented approach. The manager's willingness to assist in resolving the issue was commendable and provided some redemption for the otherwise disappointing encounter with his staff,

In summary, while the hotel's policies and management support seemed reasonable, the receptionist's behavior and lack of communication skills significantly impacted the overall guest experience. I hope that Eureka top management can provide more training and support for their ground staff or customer service staff to ensure that all guests are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

If the management of Eureka hotel values customer feedback, I recommend addressing the issue of customer service training and ensuring that the level of professionalism and communication at the reception meets the expected standards. Thank you for considering my feedback.
