Ramada Hotel, Suites and Apartments by Wyndham Dubai JBR

Terrible experience. The staff simply deceives people. We had booked and fully paid for a deluxe room with a city view, but we were put on the fourth floor in a room with a window three times smaller, a horrible view, and, most importantly, on a floor where smoking is allowed in the rooms. The smell in the room was terrible, and after an hour, I started to feel nauseous. The key point - the windows in the rooms don’t open. How can smoking be allowed in rooms without proper ventilation? It’s unclear.

I was incredibly disappointed. I asked the reception staff to either move us to another room or refund us so we could relocate. They found us a room after an hour and a half. Honestly, if it weren’t for my parents who were also staying in this hotel, me and my husband would have changed hotels. The new room matched the photo in the booking, but unfortunately, the smell was still strange – as if someone had spilled big bottle of acetone. And once again, the windows don’t open. But room is objectively better and bigger. If only there wasn’t one more issue.

In both the first and second rooms, cleanliness was terrible. They clean carelessly. I wiped down the headboard area with wet wipes, and you can see the result in the photos. I wouldn’t recommend walking barefoot on the floor – your feet turn black. The nightstand hasn’t been cleaned in ages. The furniture is dirty. The only clean things were the bedding and towels. The toilet seat was dirty, so I had to wipe it down with antibacterial wipes.

On the positive side – great breakfasts and dinners.

Everything else was terrible.

Definitely one of the worst hotels I've ever been in my life. Located in the middle of a junction with high traffic, its main entrance is located underground in a garage between car parked and the garbage room. The whole hotel itself is smelling very bad at all time.
The pictures shown on various websites are definitely miscommunication the real status of the hotel. Rooms are old, in a very bad status and dirty, hair can be found easily everywhere. The breakfast was like a nightmare, served in a small room compared to the total number of rooms of the hotel and to find a place where to sit was impossible. Long queue to get coffee, only industrial food served and all plates were always empty. The personnel was serving food using hands despite all normal standards of common hygiene. Working in tourism business since 25+ I never saw a place like this. It can be compared with a 2 start hotel worldwide. If you are not desperate, do not book there and stay away from such a "hotel". I did only see the pool by the window and also this "service" is reflecting the mood of the hotel, cheap stuff. I am attaching pictures from your personal evaluation. I will anyway write a full complaint to the company where i got this hotel.
