We came for a stay from another Rosslyn location thinking it would be the same, but were disappointed. It's a much smaller hotel. As soon as you walk into rooms you are hit with a smell of mold, after showering you realize why it smells like it. Shower was leaking , so after each shower you'd need to wipe down the floors. Breakfast is not included , and if you wanted it, it would be 12€, looked at the sad breakfast and realized for 12€ you can get a fancy breakfast outside of the hotel. Staff of course was rude, or that's just how they are. Bathroom had women's hair , its color is on purpose so you don't see dirt , but once you walk barefoot you can feel how dirty it is, so always wear slippers. Windows are sound proof because I was able to hear all the noises from outside. I heard the upstairs neighbors as well as next door neighbors , so if you're looking for a quiet night , you will not get it. I was woken up in middle of night because upstairs decided to move furniture . Hotel is in the center of Sofia , so all restaurants are walkable. I don't think I will stay in this hotel again.

Poor customer service, unable to honour cancellation and refund +6 months in advance of stay which was required due to Airline cancelling flights to Sofia.
I am sure the hotel would be able to re-sell the room in that timescale.
Non-refundable is fine a week or so in advance but 6+ months in advance is poor.

The room was smaller than looked in the pictures. The shower door leaked causing the bathroom floor to get very wet. If it was nice weather the balcony was great to sit on, but in bad weather lacked somewhere comfortable to sit. The room was clean to start with, badly cleaned during the stay, and if the cleaning staff seemed only check the do not disturb once and ignored the room for the rest if the day.
The location is faultless right in the middle of the main part of Sofia you want to be in, but with resurant, bars parks and transport all on your doorstep.

Lively big room for three people.clean and modern room.The breakfast was OK but the warm food container wasn't even plugged in so all the 'warm' food was cold

To reply to the manager's message below: They didn't get in touch despite my email to the manager though we were still around. So watch out for the stock standard response that doesn't mean anything.
Booked for a five night stay more than six months before and requested a quiet room on a high floor via Booking.com. The location of the hotel is handy to the sights and is on a quieter road. While the check in and housekeeping staff were friendly, the special request wasn't quite met though we reminded them of this and arrived after 12pm. We got a room on level 3 facing into a restaurant where there is noise coming from people talking and leaving. I agree with one recent reviewer here, the soundproofing is almost nonexistent, we constantly hear phone alarm ringing from another room from 7am, people closing doors or cupboards or windows and talking in the hallway. The safe didn't work and had to wait til the next day for a fix. The kettle didn't work but they eventually replaced it. Some routine QA check could have prevented this. The room is heated excessively in the winter the only way to cool down is to open the window like many other rooms I observed. We won't be back. And this has been a bit of a disappointment with our week-long visit to Sofia so far.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, so there is no problem with the staff for sure. As someone who has been working in hotels for years I can honestly say that the hotel itself (considering its rated with a 4 star) is completely embarassing. What kind of a 4 star hotel doesnt have its own restaurant? The breakfast was definitely horrible. No basic fried eggs for breakfast?? Olso in one of the hot dishes where it said there were american pancakes they were everything but american pancakes. I oslo once wanted to order a cockail from my room at about 22:00h and they said they had nobody to make it. I really dont know who rates these places. Come once to Serbia and you will see what an actual 4 star hotel is.

Lovely hotel and in excellent location. Staff were friendly with excellent English however there were a few things that were missing which I would have expected in a 4star hotel - the cleaner didn’t replace toilet paper when it ran out, our tea/coffee wasn’t topped up daily etc. Also our shower leaked a lot every time it was used and we asked for it to be fixed but nothing improved and the staff didn’t mention it again or offer us another room.
I would recommend asking reception the day before you want to leave to book the transfer to the airport - we tried to book it at ~10am for 5pm and was told there would be no availability. Taxis just didn’t turn up cos it was rush hour so had to get the metro - the staff helped direct us to this.

I am not sure which rooms other reviewers have stayed in but definitely not ours. Our room is street facing directly over the car elevator lift and there is no soundproofing so we get to hear all the mechanics of the lift every time it is in use as well as the street traffic, no rest to be had before our 20 hr flight. For the price of the room, I would expect better. As our last night in Bulgaria, it did not leave a good impression. While location is convenient, I would suggest you search elsewhere if you need a decent sleep.

Great location, near city center and main attractions. Room & bathroom big and modern, very comfy bed, fridge, coffee & tea amenities. Smart TV. Friendly checkin/out. A bit noisy outside in weekends, being so close to center. Valet parking in secured garage. A great place to stay, when visiting Sofia.

I liked it. Sure nit a luxury hotel, but for the money paid it’s offering the right setup and services. In addition they have underground parking, you need to pay for it, but downtown Sofia you cannot find easily parking spaces. The hotel is literally 5 minutes away from pedestrian area of downtown.
