Best Western Lozenetz Hotel

We stayed for 7 nights and had booked 3 rooms.
One family suite for 4 persons, one double room and one single room.
All of them had very simple furnishing and even though the rooms were clean, we expected to have our towels changed at least once.
Even after requesting new towels, we did not receive anything.
Reception and breakfast staff is rather quiet and not friendly.
Only the lady at reception was helpful and spoke English.
Very simple hotel standard, with old furniture and amenities.
I would not book again, since we did not felt welcome and hospitality was rather poor.
Good location though, since metro and bus station is only a couple of minutes away.
Also good walking distance to the centre ( around 20 minutes)

The most horrible experience, don’t recommend it! The room was filthy, there was a very bad smell that lingered in my clothes after I’ve left, the heating didn’t work and it was freezing. Every day I would kindly ask them to do something about this, at least give me an electric heater, nothing happened. The bathroom was so dirty, I don’t think it was cleaned in the past few months, you could see a lot of hair and slimey stuff in the shower drainage.
I would not even mention the food but what really made my stay there an awful experience was the fact that I had a pair of jeans stolen from the luggage I’ve left at the front desk until the evening on the last day there. I also had some money in the pockets. The conversation with the receptionist regarding my missing item was almost surreal, I decided there is no point in wasting my energy for this so I left even though initially I wanted to call the police.
Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this horrible place!

Offering 2 stars because the staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast, which was quite nice.
The room on the other hand was dirty, seem it hadn't been dusted and cleaned thoroughly in quite a while. The radiator for example was very rusty. The heating in the room wasn't working... wouldn't come back to this location.

The stay in this hotel was absolutely horrible. The air conditioning was not working in the first room we got, the bathroom was not clean and smelling damp, finally after a night of non-sleep because it was so hot, we got a new room. Here the air conditioning was working but it was not actually cooling very well because it was very old and was also making a lot of noise. The room was big, true, but not very well kept and the furniture was something from the 80s and not in a good way. The food for the breakfast was not even decent: everything seemed like it was done the day before, the bread was hard, the milk sour, the cheese was fermented (it was not the kind of cheese that is supposed to be fermented). And the staff is either incompetent, ignorant and careless or straight up rude and insolent if we're discussing the manager that, by the way, was not even capable of speaking English and was screaming at us in Bulgarian, expecting us to understand what she was saying. Worst experience I ever had in a hotel anywhere.

Good location and spacious room.

However the cleanliness has a lot to be desired for. The shower cubicle has not been cleaned for months.
We stayed for two night and our room never got cleaned during the day. Apparently there was only one housekeeping staff and she was busy.

May be the hotel management should considering hiring more cleaners. The place doesn't need that much to be decent. But to have clean bathroom and clean towels is pretty basic requirement for a any star hotel.

The breakfast and staff were the only good parts. The superior room smelled, the carpet always seemed gross and we def got bed bugs here. We left three days early and flew out because the AC did not work well.

Overall it was not a pleasant experience. Although the staff was kind, the rooms were of poor quality, the showers were clogged, the toilets non-functional and the AC was barely working. On a positive note I can say the Wi-Fi connection was strong and the breakfast was relatively nice. Sadly, for me it was a 2/5. Would not recommend.

Booked for 5 nights (and paid via snaptravel, no refund) but couldn't show up at the first night. I called them to tell them i would only arrive on the 3rd day. They say no problem but they won't pay me back for the first 3 nights, I called them again in the morning as I was supposed to arrive to confirm. When I arrived in the night, there was no room available. They canceled my booking because I did not show up (despite my calls...). As we insisted to either have a room or be paid back, the receptionist find us a room in another hotel for the two remaining nights (which was good: boutique one). The hotel paid for these 2 nights but did not paid for the taxi (at 10.30pm...).
Also there is no breakfast even if you paid for it. They say because of Covid but it's strange since we had buffet in other hotels a few nights ago.
I will not book in this hotel again, don't be fooled by the brand they don't care about their customers.
