Reviews
When we reached our room, the issues continued. The bed was incredibly small, with the mattress nearly touching the floor – certainly not what one expects from a double room. The curtains were dirty and moldy, and the air conditioning was a joke – you can only turn it on or off, with no control over the temperature. The bathroom, while having a light, left the shower area completely dark unless we propped the door open and used a phone flashlight. This is unacceptable.
When we brought these concerns to the manager’s attention, her response was nothing short of rude and unprofessional. She dismissed our complaints, stating that this is what we booked, implying that we should just deal with it. Her attitude and lack of willingness to address the issues made it clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority at your hotel.
For a hotel that claims to be 4-star, the service and facilities fall shockingly short of that standard. I expect a prompt response to these issues and hope that you take immediate action to prevent other guests from enduring a similarly disappointing experience.
One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the spa and sports facilities, but these were completely misrepresented. The spa was shut and out of service—something we weren’t informed about beforehand. This alone would have been a dealbreaker had we known. The gym, also a major factor in our decision, was in shambles. It was filthy, with broken equipment and missing weights, making it unusable. The tennis court was equally disappointing, with a broken net, chipped paint, and sand covering the surface. We had specifically chosen this hotel for its advertised sports facilities, and what we found was not only substandard but completely unusable.
The problems didn’t stop there. Our room wasn’t cleaned on multiple days, and to our horror, we found cockroaches in the bathroom. The toilet was broken, the ironing board was filthy, and the fridge was leaking and disgusting. The entire room, and frankly the hotel itself, looked worn down, with torn furniture and a general sense of neglect. The corridors downstairs resembled a hospital, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere that was miles away from the advertised “luxury.”
Controlling the air conditioning in the room didn’t provide much relief either, as everything felt damp and unkempt. The breakfast service was another disaster—waiting ages just to be ticked off the list and constantly dealing with a lack of glasses or cutlery.
The only saving grace was the staff, who were genuinely lovely and tried their best amidst the chaos, but that alone couldn’t salvage what was an appalling experience. For the price, this hotel was beyond disappointing—rundown, misrepresented, and an absolute letdown in almost every regard. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to reconsider their stay here.
The breakfast and service were average. The location is nice and the beach in front of the hotel is amazing.
The rooms are spacious and they have many amenities.
- room equipment was old, bathroom not very clean
- leaky shower (we asked to fix it, they said it's leaky in all the rooms, we suggested to fix in in all the rooms then...)
- outside pool was also a bit dirty, so we didn't go in
- no lamps on night stand beside bed
- lots of choice for buffet but low quality food
- one evening there was mold on the berries on one cake. when we told the cook, he just took it away.
- one morning there were some small white dots on the sliced grapefruit. Didn't really trust the food anymore at that point.
- door to our room was slightly broken, they fixed it quickly
- we were not allowed to sit outside for dinner
- generally they insist on assigning you a spot for eating
- overall too pricey for what you get.
- 3 star hotel with 5 star view imo
Rooms: Thin walls, tiles are broken in places in the bathrooms, pressure in the hoses is super low, beds are super uncomfortable. There are cockroaches. See attached video.
Service: Annoyed and overworked staff. Once there was a party that lasted well over 2 AM. Reported it to the staff several times, they were just annoyed. We asked for a compensation, got 40€ voucher for food and drinks, in the process of negotiating the compensation they were extremely annoyed and scolded us. Anyway, at the end we could use voucher only for the food and not drinks.
Location: Good location, plenty of parking and cats. Hopefully someone is feeding them. If you see this and decide to come here, please feed the cats.
Food: Food is good, therefore 2*, otherwise it would easily be 1*.
Abundance of food for breakfast.
Good swimming pools and access to the beach .You can find sun beds any time during the day .
Close to Lidl and numerous restaurants. 7 min to the old town and the market .
Very good and spacious gym
It's quite noisy as there are many children
- a room without balcony , small amount of shampoos and shower gel, not heated indoor swimming pool
