Tsokkos Protaras Hotel in Protaras

I stayed here recently and had such a great experience! The staff who greeted me were super friendly and supportive honestly, everyone I met there was kind and helpful. The kitchen staff were especially polite, and the food was amazing much better than in some other hotels I’ve stayed at in Cyprus. The meals were tasty with plenty of options, so I never got bored. It was actually better to dine there than go to a restaurant!

The pool was big and nice, the place was comfortable, and everything felt just right. What really touched me was that when we arrived, we had missed breakfast, but the staff surprised us by offering lunch as a gift such a thoughtful gesture.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi. It’s paid around €25 for two devices, and if you want to add another one, you pay again €25 for seven days. Honestly, that’s a crazy fee for Wi-Fi, especially considering it’s not even that fast. It’s cheaper and easier to just get an eSIM instead.

Other than that, everything was great I totally recommend this hotel for the lovely staff, amazing food, and overall comfortable stay.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was a good experience. The rooms could use some refreshing, but the delicious and varied food more than makes up for it. Staff members are very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists. The beach was clean and the nearby port offered many interesting cruises :)

Just spent two great weeks in this hotel. Food quality was really good, plenty of choice. Pool bar staff & drinks both excellent. Rooms could do with an upgrade, but still comfortable. Fresh towels were provided everyday. Overall we had an excellent holiday & will return next year.

Amazing 12-day stay – highly recommended!

We spent 12 days at Tsokkos Protaras Hotel and everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. Its location is excellent – just a few minutes’ walk to Sunrise Beach and right next to the main street in the center of town, with shops and restaurants all around.

The staff were always smiling, friendly, and willing to help. The pool area was spotless and relaxing. We also loved the food and drinks – everything was fresh, tasty, and well prepared.

We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Second holiday to this Amazing hotel. Please ignore negative reviews. The hotel is absolutely spotless and staff cannot do enough for you! Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was all freshly cooked and a very good variety, especially evening meals. The pools are beautiful and very clean. We always managed to get sunbeds, even going to the pools after 10 am. Location of the hotel is perfect! ***** to left, with bars/restaurants and shops galore! To the right of the hotel the beautiful beach. 5 minute walk if you want a variety of boat trips down by the beach. Thank you Tsokkos protarus hotel! Another beautiful stay. We will be back!

An honest opinion of our week here. Upon arrival which was around 10pm we were checked in quickly by a friendly lady on reception and given directions to our room which was accessed by going outside and into a separate building which was still attached to the main hotel. Our balcony overlooked the road outside which was fine and not to noisy at all apart from a bit of traffic. The sun was directly on that side of the building after around 3:30pm meaning that even with the air con being left on all day with an additional key card (€5 refundable when you leave) the room was very warm when trying to get ready for the evening, not to much of a problem for us as we had a nice breeze some nights or just kept the door closed. The pool area is a really good size and the beds and parasols are spaced out well and not near the edge of the pool which was good. There was no mad dash of a morning for sunbeds and we went down around 8am each morning and always got beds although lots already had towels on them. There’s also a smaller pool which far less people seemed to use and always seemed to be beds available throughout the day up there. Breakfast was really good with a vast choice ranging from continental to bacon, beans, sausages, severe variation of egg, fruit, yoghurt, crepes and pancakes we couldn’t fault it. Lunch and evening meals were also very good and each night had a different theme (Italian, Asian, International, Indian etc) vegetarian meals also available to order for the evening if you go to reception and order after breakfast. Bar staff were friendly and efficient both daytime and evening. Less than 1 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful however we found walking down a little further was much easier to access the water as there are lots of rocks to try and stumble across to get into the water in the beach area closest to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location for both the beach and bars and restaurants. The only one negative we would take away from this hotel (which is why good and not excellent) was there is no evening entertainment which we found unusual for an all inclusive hotel, on a couple of nights we seen a kids disco which lasted about 20 minutes and we heard a mention that there was some kinds of kids club a couple of times in the day but I’d definitely say this hotel doesn’t cater for children as there is nothing around the pool for them to do and no pool games or anything similar. I’d say this hotel is perfect for couples and families with older children. Overall we had a great time and will definitely return.
