Evalena Beach Hotel

We were very happy with the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean. The breakfast was good but could be better, especially fresh fruit salad and more bread varieties would be good. We can only recommend the Evalena. Price/performance is right.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel for the fourth time and yet again had a lovely time. It is impeccably clean and comfortable, the food is lovely and the service from George and all of his staff was excellent once again. Can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks for making our holiday so enjoyable everyone.

First of all a massive thank you to Front of House. Svetlana and Julia. The welcome could not be warmer and after a long journey, that is all you need. Petrana in House Keeping was exceptional. Professional, warm, kind and our room was like coming home every day.

We have been going to the Evalena even before it was refurbished and the location cannot be beaten. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast in the morning has something for everyone.

This is a 5 start Hotel and my only negative is some of the male hospitality staff were a little surly and sometimes rude (also noted by other customers). The service at the Evalena restaurant at the front near the beach needs to be looked at in terms of service as we ate there once and would never go back due to the service (or lack of it). Such a contrast to the inside of the hotel and the service we receieved there.

We will be back next year as always and thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good sized rooms fitted to a reasonable standard. A bigger TV would probably have suited the room better given its size but overall clean and tidy. Cleaning was daily and to a good standard. In fact the whole hotel was very well maintained and kept clean. Only minor issue was that the room towels were a little 'old' with frayed edges. Location is very central and we could get about easily both on foot in the local area and by car to sight see. Breakfast was a bit of a maul, lots of people in a small sized serving area. Selection was good, though regularly ran out of items such as pancakes and fried eggs. It was possible to wait and ask for something if it wasn't immediately available. We live in Cyprus and always intended on driving around and seeing the local area, which for us meant we had everything we needed. I would caution anyone visiting on an organised holiday without transport that the pool area was quite small and all the sunbeds were routinely filled. We feel very lucky we didn't have to fight every morning for a sum lounger. The pool was also a little small. Also, being right next to the hotel, the hotel shaded out parts of the pool area at times significantly reducing the amount of good tanning time. Getting the right bed early can maximise your experience so advise anyone going for a pool side experience to get there early. We noticed that despite signs warning patrons not to reserve beds, this was often disregarded and happened a lot. Overall, it was a good experience, though I would probably pay more money and go elsewhere if we intended on staying at a hotel and sunbathing.

Everything was great!

1. Clean rooms but not enough space around sink area to put toilletries.
2. Good breakfast variety and quality but bad coffee
3. Fantastic location, right on boardwalk and close to everything.
4. Nice pool area but annoying that you can't change towels after 13:00. Also, the lady providing towels was rarely at the desk so you had to either wait for her to come back or try to find her.
5. Not cool that they don't provide a new water bottle each day (would only cost them 15 cents but would elevate quality and perception of hotel)

Normal 4 star, 5-7 minutes to the beach, the rooms are not big, breakfast and dinner are not bad. Special thanks to the staff, Svetlana, Yulia and Miroslava, they always helped with questions. And special thanks to the cleaner Katerina, she never came into the room when the "do not disturb" mode was turned on, unlike others! My wish to the hotel, do something with those who meet guests at breakfast and dinner, I think they need to work in another position, since they always had gloomy faces:)

I recently stayed at Evalena Hotel at the beginning of July, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious, modern, and offered a stunning view of the surroundings. The amenities, including the pool and dining options, were top-notch and exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The location is perfect, with easy access to local attractions and the beach. I highly recommend Evalena Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay. I can't wait to return!

Good stay overall, comfortable hotel.
Great breakfast buffet abd Lunch buffet, everything was delicious.
The pool outside is a bit small.
The room for 3 was a bit small too, and they didn’t put bathrobes for 3, nor complimentary coffee for 3, we had to ask.
To reach the center of fig tree bay you need to walk around 15mins near the beach, it’s a pleasant walk. And if not there’s just a beach facing the hotel too.

Booked the hotel afternoon the day before and my agency failed to forward the reservation. Yet the hotel staff offered drinks and sorted my stay with the agency themselves. The stay was pleasant - rooms were cleaned every day without me noticing when! The view was worth paying extra for the sea side. Night life strip was some 10 min walk, thus the location gets 4 starts for me. The hotel had some daily live music. Not anything loud like in the hotels further away, which could be crashed if wanted. I'll probably come again sometime later.
