Clean and comforting hotel in Berlin. The staff are helpful. Rooms are small but not that big as well. We did not test the breakfast as we had to live very early in the morning. Some rooms have beautiful balcony to enjoy the view.

Good business hotel with a good location in Berlin, close to the underground and suburban rail. Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle, but not top far away if you like some action. Rooms well appointed and clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet varied and well stocked. The only minor complaint is that the scrambled eggs are a bit dry. This is a good hotel in a southern suburb of Berlin. It is near an underground stop. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a buffet breakfast that has wide variety of wholesome food, hot and cold.

Beautiful decor, friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. We felt this place was a lovely find. We booked the 4 bed loft room - and had 2 teens with us. Room could have benefited from an additional mirror, outside of the bathroom, and 4x cups for drinking water, instead of the 2 privided. All else was great.

Stayed one night at this very cool hotel! Charming bar with friendly staff. Had a small garden, where you can sit and enjoy a drink. Nice room with cool interior and the whole hotel building is really something different. A very positive experience that took me by surprise😀

Fantastic for the price. It was a little over 500 euros for two people for a week. The room was tiny, which we expected, but comfortable and very clean. Room service came every day. The front desk staff were very helpful when we asked dumb questions. You would never find this kind of quality at that price at an American chain.

Really friendly helpful staff and room was spacious with comfy bed, but despite checking with staff that air conditioning was set correctly with windows shut, room was sweltering my whole stay. I shouldn't have to buy a fan from the hardware store over the road just to sleep okay. And the breakfast was very basic. Room was very small for 3 adults. Even with our baggage mostly underneath the bed and stored on shelves on the wall, we still didn’t have much walking room and had to take turns accessing luggage. The staff is really nice, the rooms are always clean when you get back. During this hard time the staff manages to make the stay easy and contactfree. The breakfast is usually a buffet but now it's a pre-order but still it's very nice and you can choose between light, sweet and meaty :)

The Novum Hotel Gates Berlin Charlottenburg is situated in an exceptionally beautiful area of Berlin. Very close to the city centre and all amenities. Public transport is easy to find and use. The hotel itself is wonderful, with great service and clean, well appointed rooms. All at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I spent there 5 nights. I felt comfortable in the place. It is very well located and the personal is very kindly. The internet connection is good and it the place was very clean. I think that the price for what you obtain is fine. Obviously it is not a new hotel, but it is very well conserved. I only had certain issues with the elevator, too much people and not enough place, but nothing serious.

It's an old hotel, you can notice by the state of the building, furnitures, elevator, and smell. But it's clean and comfortable enough. There's a parking space for 10€ per night. Great location and affordable rooms which are spacious and nicely decorated. The bar in the courtyard was lively on Saturday night and a nice place to get a drink but you can't hear the noise when you're in your room. The room included a Nespresso machine which produced hot water too but you did have to pay for additional coffee pods etc.
