Had a pleasant stay there everything was good but maybe they could put more coffee pods.

This is a really nice hotel. It is in a great location, across the street from the central railway station. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Berlin. This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Berlin. Immediately across the street from the main train station was so convenient for getting out and exploring, and a very easy walk to the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. Decent rooms but hotel is a bit loud. I had constant running about from peiple upstairs. One restaurant employes was a bit rude, one of the receptionists was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Not a smile or a kind word for anyone - a shame when she's the very first person you see. Really good breakfast.

Unfortunately, a lady at check-in wasn't very friendly. The hotel's location is great, not far from the U3 subway line. The bathroom was unfortunately not very clean. For that price, I wouldn't book it again.

Aircon was making weird noises intermittently. It sounded like an espresso machine. Room is a good size. The bed could be more comfortable. It is rather on the firm side. It is an ok hotel but I don’t think I would book it again. There are plenty options in the area if you need to stay close by.

We stayed 3 nights at the Holiday Inn Berlin City East Side during our weekend in Berlin and were fully satisfied with the quality of the service. Beautiful room, very flexible staff, ideal location, and great value for money. We will definitely come back if we visit Berlin again.

Convenient location and nice breakfast.

I was told on the reception that “check-in from 3 pm” doesn’t mean that I can check in at 3:05 pm. It means that I can’t check-in earlier than 3 pm. Waiting didn’t take long at the end, but what kind of scam is it?! Or is it a membership bonus? The room is spacious and look nice, but has quite distinctive cigarette’s smell.

First, when I checked in, the receptionist didn't welcome us, he asked for the reservation and gave me the room key that was all. The iron place isn't suitable at all in the corridor near the elevator if it is in a room for it or they send it to your room as in other hotels will be more decent. Hot water is not always found in the shower. These things I didn't like and the rest was good. Overall rating...

Good, clean hotel. Only complaints are it is about 20 minutes outside from town in the metro, but that was fine for our schedule. Also, breakfast was over €20 so definitely not worth buying. Should be included. Happy with the price and what we got.

Booked for one night, everything worked out great. The elevator is very old and occasionally had trouble recognizing the hotel key card. It could perhaps be updated. Otherwise, everything was fine. I would stay again.

Due to flight delays we arrived way later than scheduled but the reception is 24 hour so no problem whatsoever. I think the gentleman who greeted us was Fredrick (loves cycling in England he said) - and he deserves a special mention for his warm welcome and hospitality. We stayed in a twin room in the newer block. Absolutely everything I'd expect from a Best Western hotel, no complaints whatsoever...

It is the centre of the Berlin, near with Museum Island! It was very clean, comfortable, i liked the shower and bathroom. The bed was really comfortable, i slept very well.

Great location. Close to main street Kudamm, transport and supermarket is across the road if you need anything. Front desk lady was very friendly and helpful at check in. Spacious, clean room and good wifi (on second floor). Room facing the street is surprisingly quiet at night. Window opens for fresh air. Mini fridge is a plus.

It's an unashamedly middle market hotel close to Zoo station. The rooms are clean and have air-conditioning (handy during the recent, 33°C, heatwave). The staff are friendly, it has a bar, and there's plenty of restaurants and shops close by. I'd happily go again next time I'm in Berlin.

Great location but the hotel is a bit of a dump. I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets. Brilliant location though if you don’t intend to spend any time whatsoever in your room.

The service is very good, the room facilities are not many, generally clean (there are some stains or something that are not cleaned up). It is suitable for a travel option to spend a night, after all, it is cheap.

We really liked the hostel/hotel. We travelled as a family of five and stayed in a six person dormitory. The accommodation is clean, modern, and well maintained. We will try more Meininger Hostels.

Great experience. It is a hotel with a good location as it has the train and metro station right next to it. Close to the Wall and from where you can take one of the hopon-hopoff bus lines. The room is big enough for children, with a bunk bed and a double bed. Good food service and bar.

The hotel was somewhat clean, my issues were that the rooms were very warm and without any sort of air con it was uncomfortable. Washing machines were broken and the staff at the bar would not give us any ice, would be great to have a fridge also.

The rooms are quite old-fashioned, but you can stay in them for a few days. The bed was good. The breakfast at the hotel was of the usual standard, but the dinner food was quite modest. The drinks service did not work at dinner, we had finished eating our food before the waiter brought the drinks.

My accommodation fee included breakfast. On the third day of my stay, I reported my room number at breakfast. A waiter asked me to wait and checked whether breakfast was included on the computer. However, he did not check other people's room numbers and went straight to eat. What happened?

We had a great stay at Steglitz International. The location is excellent—well connected to public transport, with plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. It was easy for us to get around Berlin from here. We didn’t opt for the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that, but overall, it was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, the staff downstairs wouldn’t let me to my room until they “verified who I was” and the music playing in the surrounding areas crept through the walls like rats.
