Maritim Hotel Frankfurt

The hotel is nice, room, reception, etc. everything clean and quite. Resonably priced. However, if you are here with a car, they offer you a public parking which is very expensive. That turned me to unhappy.

Our stay was okay, the hotel is not really up to the standards of a 4 stars hotel. If it was a 3 stars hotel I would have given a higher rating.

Pros:
- Great location, 1 min walk from the subway station and it is extremely easy to get taxis as well.
- Many cafés, bars and restaurants nearby. The Skyline Plaza Mall is only 10 min walk from it and the corona vaccination center is also only 5min walk which was very convenient.
- The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
- Amenities like toiletries (only minimal), hair dryer were provided.
- The view from the room was nice.
- Kettle and teas were provided.
- The building is beautiful.

Cons:
- The room was not perfectly clean, there was hair in the bathtub and the bathroom's floor.
- No bathrobe was provided although it was part of the room's description, we had to specifically ask to get slippers since they were not provided either.
- We reserved a double bed but what we got was 2 attached twin beds.
- Check-in was slow, for a hotel with around 500 rooms it makes no sense to have only 2 check-in staff available and results in long line and long waiting time.
- Rooms have carpets, which smell dusty so not really recommended for allergic people.
- The SushiCo restaurant was closed, so we didn't have many eating options. The restaurant allows you to order food from other restaurants but after 11pm that is no longer possible since almost all restaurant are closed by then.
