Rooms were small and dingy. Though the size of the rooms can be discarded for the budget offered but the cleanliness was definitely an issue with stains on the tables and closets. Felt a bit unsafe at night with drunk people walking around the area.

This is the worse place you can stay in !!The owner Mr. Birnbaum is very rude he is very disrespectful to his guest which actually are the people who supports his business! I never had this happened in my entire life before ,at this location was my language stolen i had my Laptop and my stuff in worth of 10,000 $and all off his employees the stuff is so scared of him because he screams around I saw him twice the rooms are Dusty and dirty the fridge dont work! there were rats in the room!just because I mentioned that it was not clean he didn't had to steal my stuff he knocked at my door in the morning! Do yourself a favor do not stay here its not worth it!!

Eh… you pay for what you get. If you’re here in Munich to city hop and don’t care about hotel service or anything, yeah, its fine.
Pros:
- great location, near hbf and easy access to subway and trams
- Easy checkin and checkout
- relatively cheap
Cons:
- Rooms are so small; we changed rooms once and they seemed to get smaller. We just wanted to literally bunk for one night, and for that purpose its okay, but they are legit tiny rooms and hallways.
- extremely noisy: there is no insulation between the walls or the walls are too thin, you can hear people walking and moving stuff above you and around you
- kinda smells like it hasnt been aired out for a while.
- there were no water bottles in the room for guests

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Munich City. The place was clean, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of delicious local German dishes. The location was convenient, just a 40-minute walk from Marienplatz. However, I found the lighting in the room to be insufficient, as the main light was behind the curtains, and one of the bedside lamps was broken. Additionally, the heater/radiator didn’t seem to produce enough heat, which made the room feel a bit chilly. Despite these issues, it was still a decent stay overall.

Good location not too far from the old city. Room was very clean and spacious. A bit noisy, you could hear people talking on the hallways. Breakfast was ok, but limited choices for juice and no hot chocolate.

Nice location, close to the mall and train station. Rooms are nice but bath tub not draining properly. Some staff are nice while other are not friendly.

The room was very tiny, as was the bathroom. I've never seen such a small hotel room in my life. We couldn't even open our two pieces of luggage together. Both the room and the bathroom were dirty. Outside noise could be heard inside the room. The breakfast options were limited and basic. However, the location was good. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I own small guest house in the Czech Republic and I'm always open to learning about customer service and the receptionists are very very good. The staff for breakfast are excellent. The room was compact but perfect for us.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I knew it was 'budget' standard, but the rooms wete tatty, dirty and the service was unhelpful.
My room was caked with dust, the toilet door lock ripped out, exposed chipboard due to poor condition of furniture.
They also decided to start building work so the hallway was full of dust, bags of cement etc.
On the last day I fell ill and the reception staff were no help. I asked for a late checkout and was told 300 Euro.

Good hotel close to Theresienwiese for the festival, as well as close to U-Bahn to get around. Decent price and friendly staff.
Breakfast is continental with some hot wurst, bacon (European style) and scrambled eggs as well as usual meats, cheeses, breads, juices etc
Had a twin room. Toilet a little small but usable.
